Hot Headed
Helmets are a little like boots only more so, insomuch as the fit varies from person to person, not helmet to helmet. I bought a Premier and then spent some tome chopping the liner about to make it confortable enough to wear for more than a few minutes. Similarily I just felt pressure in all the wrong places with an Arai so even though I could get one cheap wouldn't buy it. Because the Shoei fitted me nice I bought that. Now as far as ventilation goes it is great when riding on the loop, but not that cool when practicing even though it has vents which you can open. When riding in france over the last few summers it has been more than acceptable, best of all, and this is a must for sweatty conditions it has a removable liner. There is only one way to find a good fit and that is make sure you try the helmet you are thinking of buying on for a good few minutes at least.

To be fair you were a fair way in Dabster That is the annoying thing about wearing glasses, loose the things and you can't see to look for them.

Couldn't get the video to play but as I have seen him do it in the flesh all credit to the bloke. He can ride a bike well too, not surprising really.

Duluth Report
That wouldn't be Dave Thorpe would it? In his defence, and more generally, alot of people move flattern and in the deep south here tread in lines in cambers and the like which is sometimes of benefit to all the entry, and I've never seen Dave or anyone else for that matter go back and take the "helper" out. I'm not sure its clearly cheating, its more a question of degree which makes it right or wrong, and herein lies the problem, what is acceptable varies enourmously.

I actually got warned not to move nut shells recently, the kicker thing in France goes to the other extreme on the harder routes its almost encouraged.

Ladies British Championship
I'll take that as a yes then? I don't want to take sides here but there is a reason for Barry Robinson to have a bias, and I'm not sure he ever really did/does it intentionally, but thats reality and the best way for Becky or anyone else from the south is to go up north and win. Besides which its a good lesson for when she goes abroad you can be sure that all the British will get no favours from the Spanish French or whoever.

2.9 & Keihin Carb
The 04 was much better with it but I didn't fit it to the 05 as with the improvements of this years model didn't think it worth while. Unless you are top league I wouldn't bother, better to go down the route of Boyesens and a VX plug and race gas?
