  1. nothing there except what reminded me of a sixties acid trip............
  2. You know more than the rest of us already, radically modified? Really?
  3. I saw him interviewing the riders as they finished but i wouldn't expect 25 minutes of action.
  4. I don't see any reason why Oliveras cannot ride in the Junior, although in the rules he has to stick with the 125cc as he isn't 18 yet. But by the same generality if Alexz or anyone else for that matter is European champ surely an upgradeshould be possible too? The degree of rule bending is dependent on your viewpoint, but Oliveras participating in the Junior wtc is against the rules as detailed above, period.
  5. Dani oliveras is 17, his birthday is in November when he will be 18. Having won the youthWTC for Gas Gas he decided to ride the junior WTC at Hawkstone. Who gave him permission to do that? You are supposed to be 18 to compete and he clearly is not. Patrick Smage (USA) apparently asked if he could ride in the Youth wtc in the Duluth round and was told, "rules are rules, no". Alexz Wigg asked if he could do the same and ride at Hawkstone in the Youth WTC, coincidentally his birthday is exactly the same as Dani's only he is 2 years younger, he was told "rules are rules, no". Is that fair?
  6. Strangely enough the gas gas that you and I can buy do bear alot of resemblence to the works and other guys, were you at Hawkstone or not. Gearbox failures are uncommon considering the number sold and I wonder why some people have nothing but reliability prblems then others no serious issues regardless of make.
  7. BVM in Stroud is very close, go see Mark Kemp the owner an ex works rider and there is always Steve Saunders somewhere nearby.........
  8. I'm pretty sure that the licence fee in Spain starts at 133 euros, if we were all paying that then perhaps we could knock the ACU for funding. Subira is on to something there good idea.
  9. I am absolutely convinced that his success has very little to do with the 125cc WTC as its only been going this year in earnest. More to do with training, factory help, and in no little part the RFME.
  10. Not so sure now, but Doug still has a mountain to climb, my thoughts are that Raga's success depends more on what type of sections more than anything else will determine the outcome.
  11. sadly the Sherco 4t needs more than caby riding it to make me buy one (and many others i think).
  12. For many years now the Sherco has always appeared in the hands of grimbo, Freixa and Connor as pretty much the same as I can buy at my local dealer, just get a Kehin and you're there. This year forks clamps wheels shocks seem different, isn't it time to follow the Gas Gas example and produce a Caby replica?
  13. i was talking to a Spanish rider in a queue whilst waiting in a section in France recently and he said that in his opinion the lacke of top quality ADJUSTABLE suspension was a mistake as far as quality to he customer was concearned and I agree with him that its time Sherco upgraded. See other post. I have always stuck with 95mm and found it good, but next time out I shall up it to 65 and see what it does, however I have always felt that lifting the back up to measure the sag that 65 might not be enough and not sure if stodley is saying this.
  14. Explain to me how the addition of air increases damping?
  15. unless I'm mistaken the sachs shock is not "adjustable" all you can do is set the sag at about 95mm and thats it. I am tired of the Sherco being the only bike with non adjustable Shocks front and back, it is the only real downside for me. I have a Reiger shock on the back which is much better.
  16. Begs the question if they don't want to pay an ex WTC champ a good wage will he give up or settle for reduced
  17. Really enjoyed it and even though my total was 70 plus there wasn't a section that I felt I couldn't clean, however as long as the hole is in my a*** there would be no way for me to do that all day for 1 day let alone 3. Great trial well run and good sections with ample time. Really felt I had achieved something there, where else can you say that?
  18. Alan try to see the bigger picture, and put yourself in the place of, err, say lee Sampsons dad. Without being too personal he's not flush with cash, an ordinary working guy and Lee is a student. (I think). He has lost the 250cc Championship due to international riding (expensive but factory have taken notice of him) and other reasons so why should he spend the extra to attend the last round if its a long way from home and his championship position will be unaffected? The fact that its your round and on the iow has got nowt to do with it is my guess.
  19. As dougies contract is up for renewal I think, will he be on a Mont next year?
  20. Lots of previous posts on this, if it leaks the band is not seated right, go to rypusa for info.
  21. I would imagine Lee has realised his mistake in not sticking with the 125cc from the beginning of the year and having the 250cc championship beyond his grasp decided to get the extra preparation in for Hawkstone. Lee and Sam haslam have at least another year on 125cc's excepting the British Champs, where the ACU isn't in line with the FIM and UEM.
  22. You can ride the euro rounds no problem, but cannot score points in the championships but as you wont be doing all rounds I would just use it as good experience, it is very much that.
  23. Looking forward to it, no one has a bike I could borrow (?) don't fancy walking 13kms per lap!
  24. I hope you havn't ordered the lapdancers you can't touch!
