Hi you'll be fine will the 2010 model, problems were sorted by then. I had an early 09 model and had two swingarms and a frame! But had neither on the 2010.

I've been running about 80ml per 5litres of fuel around 60:1 of tts for a few years with no problems.

Yeah have a skeet and let me know, I've had three evos now and they've all been very close specially on the first 09 bike when I fitted and stiffer spring. The 2011 bike comes with a heavier gauge spring as standard so must just take up a few extra millimetres of space.

Had the exhaust off to see if it could be moved, it still touched but only just. Finally went to my local dealer and we gave the silencer a few tweaks and now it clears. The problem is the gap between the frame the silencer and the shock is only a few millimetres either side so it's easy to have a bike which rubs. Thinking back my 2009 Evo silencer used to make contact also after fitting a stiffer shock spring. Rode the bike today for a good few hours and it feels great all the small changes for 2011 have made an already great bike even greater!

Anyone had any problems with the 2011 2t exhaust fouling the rear shock spring?

Can't go wrong with a beta, the bikes are great and the back up from lampkins is second to none! Just picked up my 2011, well impressed!

I had a problem with my 2010 running weak after six months running fine, found it was a wire from the coil which had rubbed through so was getting a poor spark. Might be worth a sight?

Anyone had a play around with the gearing on a 250 evo? Just interested to see what people have settled for, the standard is 11t up front and 41t on the back. Ive always found that 1st gear is really short so have only used it in a section twice!

The wulf trials gear is good, admittedly the graphics aren't as cool as the more expensive brands but the quality is great! infact the pants are thicker and less prone to ripping than the tour de France Lycra other brands are using!

Yeah have had a few problems with mine, think am on shock number 4! I know three other 2010 bikes which have all had shocks replaced. But to be fair Beta UK have been great and sent out replacements the same day, so I can't complain , will be defo sticking with Beta for 2011!!!

What you need is a 290 Beta And a bigger van to carry the spare shocks!

Heard that there might be a new DID style back wheel and a revision on the failing rear shock.
