Found the Dunlop's to be leaky around the rim. Not just on my Sons Ossa but another in the area. They do not seem to seat well on the rim. The IRC's suffer similarly but tend to "puff" it out when they hit something. Both Michelins are pretty good with the X lite giving grip without much running but not lasting as long as the X11.

The Vent things. We lost one pretty early and I bought the last Trials and Tribulations had. Andy At Pennine has a few Italian sources for parts if you can't find them anywhere else.

Chris Loves it. If they can sort out production fast enough he'd have another. If not then we will have to get a Vertigo. There's no substitute for Fi.

dadof2 I can't praise the EFI on Chris's Ossa enough. We no longer have to fiddle before during and after every section trying to get the bike to run cleanly. It's reliable runs well and has taken a lot of doubt over power delivery away. It idles reliably, does not feel as if it's going to die when the fans come on and has a clean pickup when the bike is asked to rev. Not something the Gas Gas and Sherco's we have had in the past wee able to do. Personally I cannot wait to see the back of the Carb.

You are close by Pennine Trialsport who is an Ossa Dealer and expert. He looks after Chris's TR300i. I'm sure Andy would assist.

Chris is doing rather well on his TR300i. The major Plus point is that the engine, once warm, runs the same at the start of a trial as at the end. As for computers I have a Surface Pro3 and 4 as well as a few Laptops available to me. Haven't really needed them yet though.

If Chris gets hold of one I will let you know his opinion. He tends to be honest about the bikes and I gather a few riders thoughts as well.

Looking at the Maps of 1810 It seems that the Quarry was where the Houses were Built and Post Hill Itself was not actually Quarried until after the War. Even then it seems to be a fairly small area. The 1800's Quarry was known as "Mary Harrisons Quarry" And Harrisons was a local Building company. It's ironic that the area is under Housing. As stated the Yorkshire Post themselves state they bought the land presumably off Harrisons, and it was Renamed "Post Hill". Previously it was Park Springs. The Land was used during the war for a POW camp although I would expect that to be the Quarry and also AA batteries. After the war it was transferred to Harrisons and that's were the Lease must have started.

A piece of land bought and paid for by the Yorkshire Post for Motor sport. Taken over during the war and not given back to the club. Now Leeds City council seem to like messing anybody using it for anything but dog walking and locals using it as a "party" venue. Sorry but the "war Dept" and the land they requisitioned needs to be sorted out. too many people lost out and the use of the area by passing to to "local" authorities has lead to loss of amenities. Allowing building on this area is just not in keeping with it's original use.

He was due to ride the Montesa but I gather the financial side just was not in place at a time he had to make a decision. Hence back to the UK with a Beta.

As it was for the Organisers that isn't quite how I see it. I think it's more down to the lack of response to requested changes. None are ever taken notice of so why bother to turn up and be ignored....

I expect it to be very light and strong. 63KG The Vandal is a conventionally Framed Trials machine using the same engine as the Combat The Vandal LR is a Trail Version of the Vandal carrying more fuel and a seat.

Well the first Production Machine has rolled off the line this week. We'll have to see what the rate is from now on.
