  1. And I'm packing the Sun cream for The Eboracum Club trial tomorrow!!!!
  2. Where's StuartC when you need him There are racks made for 4x4's that would work on a Motor home. Try looking at Autotowbars and Dave Cooper.
  3. I know Jon Chambers and Josh Maude plan on going out at sometime, might be this weekend?
  4. I keep checking the ACU listing but the Abergavenny trial still has no details. Anybody from the club on here know when they will be posted??
  5. According to the Subaru release on Pistonheads the saloon is USA only.
  6. I believe that as Nose weight is measured on the caravan's hitch. I don't think Plod or VOSA have any equipment capable of measuring the nose weight when using a Bike rack hence you don't get pulled.
  7. Most Sherco dealers should be able to get one, or try MRS direct. You could also try getting the old one rebuilt with better spokes. Your problems sound like the Spokes not being tense enough. If you tap the spoke with a key or screwdriver it should "ring". A dull clonk indicates you need to use a spoke key to re-tension it.
  8. Yep it's a hatch! Most of the scooby fans at Pistonheads don't like it but given how ugly the current one is anything would be an improvement. If you cannot see the pictures then tryNew Impreza

Came in fifth today on the Hard course at Horsforth just behind The A class winner. Given he's still not pushing the rev's as the bike is "running in" that's not bad at all. Came across a few teething problems and he has been over the bars at BUMPY. However the improvement over the 06 bike is obvious. The engine note is very different to even the standard '07 with the Titanium pipe.

The Standard one is supposed to be Hi comp but NYL reckons the racing's is different to the standard 125. He's put a Titanium front pipe on it as well

NYL has been working at The ones who cannot be named this week on work experience. He went to pick up the bike from Shirty's and is currently PDI'ing it and fitting the various bits he has bought ready. (Renthal Fat Bars and clamps, coloured hydraulic lids etc). Only has to transfer the Shock and Carb to complete it.
  12. Borrowed one instead of a courtest car when mine was bumped. It will easily fit two bikes in. Driving it was odd though. The Side windows seem a long way away when you drive it.

Turned up on a Bright and cold morning to find Jon and Josh HAD entered!!!!!! Weird weather didn't spoil the event or the results. Bright sunny and warm was the main order of the day but the Light blizzards kept the obsevers, spectators and Minders guessing as to whether to bring out the Waterproofs and jackets. The "Usual Suspects" were in the results with JC winning the A class and Jack Shepard the "B" on 2(!!).

Well those of us with A & B Class riders will be heading down to Devon this weekend. NYL and myself will be in amongest the "B" class entrants. The course is numbered differently this year which will probably help when getting to the "Gulley" sections but many will be aware of the "stoppers". Josh Maude in "B" class and Jon Chambers in "A" are missing but the main runners will be there. The organisation will be better as well. Cheadle left a lot to be desired after our "home" YG round. I know That Dob Park has permanent buildings but trying to find out what was going on in a "tesco" tent was not what I expect from a British National. Neither was the total lack of a Podium ceremony. We really enjoyed The Otter Vale trial last year and hopefully it will be even better this. See you there!!!
  15. I've been asked by the President of Yeadon Guiseley to state that the club will continue to run Trials at Addingham Moorside despite the uncertain outlook for practising. I have also, thanks to contributors on Silsden.net, the page for Silsden councillors from the Bradford council website. It includes the email addresses for the councillors. If you do wish to voice your views the area is known as "The Nab" to the locals. Silsden Councillors
  16. Believe Dan Clark uses(used) one of these and he could get his Gas Gas in.
  17. Everybody forgets the Clipic 80!! Smaller Chassis and good suspension. The engine gearbox seems good as well. Like anything tho try the bikes and let the lad decide!! make sure he can ride them either together or on the same day. That way he doesn't get the "halo" effect from trying one in good conditions and the other under bad.
  18. They do for what it's worth Cheadle I say that as they don't seem to have any results on it at all. Haven did have them from the web but I didn't get the URL. As soon as I have it I'll post it. I have heard reports of some pretty "dodgy" observing regarding the tapes. These did move due to the weather and a number of riders were unhappy at being five'd When they'd touched them after they had moved. Queues built up as well at certain sections which didn't help. I have to say that the Marking out left a lot to be desired. I expected differnet coloured flags to mark out differences in the course not "Sign boards". Very wacky and not a standard I have ever come across.
  19. The complainant is a Councillor who has moved into the area very recently I believe. Funnily enough when an inquiry was made to the council they claimed to know nothing about it??
  20. Don't know about a white wash, but a wash out???? Didn't see the final results as we had to leave early because (as you might gather), I am working tonight. The Trials was a 12 section 3 lapper with the B class starting at Section 7. The Trial started in fine weather but the expected rain came down during as the B Class went thru on their first full lap and really affected the scores. I did see That after the first lap I Thought Ricky Wiggins led followed by Jack Challoner and Jonathan Richardson. Ben Morphett had only completed one lap As The B class runners begin coming thru to start their last "half" lap. Unlike Dob Park the scores were not easy to see and indeed I saw several riders trying to see their score but being unable to do so. Perhaps a bigger tent would have sorted the problem. Anyway I look forward to seeing the results on Cheadle's website.

Doh!! Give the man a break!!! Easiest place to practice is Addingham Moorside. It's just above Silsden. Another local to you is BUMPY in Birstall. At Addingham you pay the Farmer
  22. I'd be wary about this one. Cheadle do need to up their game and this might be the day. Either way it could throw up a "different" winner. In A Class tho It would be hard to bet against JC. His dad reckoned his ride at Dob was a "slack" one and he can do a lot better. Others such As Jon Chambers were very disappointed and they will come out fighting. We haven't seen the best of Jonathan Richardson yet after the unfortunate brake problems so I'd expect a better showing with a trouble free run. Others such as Ben Morphett will want to improve and will be on the "back" of Adam Jones and co. The Gas Gas UK Runners are young so will need time to "bed" in In B class My tips's did pretty well including Joanne Coles. Again the results could be tainted. But I'd expect the top 10 to be the same with the mix altering. NYL is out to improve having had his best result so far. He feels he should be up just behind Josh Maude(Both on Private Gas Gas 125's), who was disappointed at showing nerves on the early sections at Dob Park and given his local form should be in challenging the top two of Jack Shepard and Richard Sadler. A few B class lads didn't show well at Dob Park as well so all those who finished in the top 10 have to be on their guard against a return to form of such as Tom Bleasdale and the improving riders like Jack Howell. The weather may also take a part as rain is forecast so make sure the waterproof's are packed. We'll see you all there!
  23. Get to your nearest dealer and get some Gearbox oil. Then Change it every month,(or about eight trials), and you'll be about right. If you still have problems then it could be the plates need changing. You'll need to check how much to use but most use between 400 and 550 ml of oil in the boxes.
  24. Best place to look will be either here or Bradford's website. I'm trying to get hold of a set of results and Bradford have a "marker" set in their results section. Points to the Timperly results at the moment but as soon as Stuart/Ron has them I'm sure they'll put them up. I'm in Summerbridge tomorrow so may not get them until late.
