Ok I gues so, i moved timing back to standard which gave it a good strong torque and instant power from just touching the throttle, dont really like a muddy feel as I like sharp throtle responce, Id agree the 10 tooth feels like you cant stall the bike easy and will lift the front wheel no probs when you want it.

A 10 tooth sprocket does several things. It primarily helps those of us who are less skilled with the clutch. You can go slower with the clutch out so it requires less clutch work. If you do a series of very close obstacles requiring a burst of throttle, it is easier to keep your speed down. (think - log, log, log) If the throttle does get away from you, the bike runs out of rpm sooner so is less likely to squirt out from under you. A 9 is even better for these things but made it harder to get over larger obstacles so not desirable. It felt like it took away the bikes reach.

  7. IRC trials tires. There are two different types. The Tubed type has a green stripe running up through the centre. The Tubeless has a red stripe. If you fit a green striped Tube tire to a tubeless rim, it will deflate as soon as you hit a step.

Hi all can any one shed light on this, my 08 rev 3 250. Previous owner had it set up like thus Ignition timing was fairly retarded by 5 degrees I'd guess Needle jet is a JJJ not the JJH standard size. Front sprocket is a 10 tooth Found the time due to the bottom end going and having a rebuild. I can only guess they wanted a very soft engine. On second note my m8 has a 2001 modle which seems to have more grunt and power than mine on a speed test he pulls way and leaves a fair gap even if we get away the same time ect.
  11. French site www.trial-club.com Interview with Marc Teissier owner of SHERCO/SCORPA. Watch it on Youtube not the site , on you tube you should get a proper audible spoken translation in good english.

  13. I dont even watch it any more. Participation is at all time low in my local clubs, so the manufacturers have got to be feeling it and I imagine WTC is their largest expense. IMO WTC needs a total redirection. I lost a lot of respect for Toni a few years hearing him talk about the direction he thinks trials should go, appealing to spectators and not to people entering the sport, so im not sure who is going to lead the charge. Maybe the manufacturers
  14. Trialworld in Spain is reporting trs vertigo ( gas gas already) EM quiting the championship will look for link
  15. Search for pictures. Hmm yeah it does seem high on my 23 and I usually hate that, several bike recently I've readjusted down. But never noticed on TRS. Odd. Your pegs are quite worn.
  16. 16 years on from the last post! Just bought a mint Fantic 200 Trial, rear kick. 1982 (according to the date stamp on the tank). Sprockets are 11/52. Rode it in two Trials this week. It is a little bit quick in tight sections, so I have ordered a 10 tooth front sprocket to slow it down a bit.
  17. I have a set of purple mudguards. Just need a white 2k paint job and stickers. And a amazing new seat !

  19. Hi all, Anyone out there riding a 26 factory Sincro 250. Just wondering how they run in comparison to the superseded evo. My bike seems very rich and gassed up on the first part of throttle, cleans up nicely on quarter throttle all the way up but very fluffy down low. Leaned the pilot circuit right out on mixture screw but still not as clean as I’d like. Anyone else finding the same

  28. Tried one of the slab back protectors and don't like it, replaced it with a Troy Lee Designs back and chest vest which is way better 👍 Thinking about purchasing a second Troy Lee vest in a different model to wear over the first one so they cover any missing areas. Nothing is cheap to buy any more. ... model is a UPV something
  29. I think I might try 3D printing one. It will be a bit soft of course but I always warm my hub with a hot-air gun so it shouldn’t need much hitting.
  30. Hi guys I’m looking for chest/back body protection for trials. trying to get a jist of what my fellow riders are using and what they think of them Some look bulky and others look to bloody flimsy and they’re not cheap Tia!
