Hi, Had my bike for a couple of months now and have a few questions for any Seeley owners. 1). There looks like some sort of decomp lever on the top right of the cylinder head. Since buying the bike there has never been a cable to it. Does it need one? 2). What colour is the red used on the frame, and where can I get hold of it in paint form to touch some bits-up? 3) Does the Clymer manual for the Reflex TLR200 1986 -87 cover the majority of my Seeley? (I think mines an 81). If not is there another workshop manual out there you can recommend? 4) Any idea where I can get spares such as throttle cables, etc? Cheers,

Just re-building my 349 and i noticed some cracking on the bottom yolks from inner leg holes .There is a set of 247 yolks on ebay but i'm unsure if they will fit a 349 from 1980? cheers Dave

Just started to spray the frame on my bultaco 199a, but not to sure on how to go about it! its already been sprayed in GOOD quality primer and ive rubbed it down with fine wet + dry! ive got the paint (holts spray cans in the correct colour) im planning on starting this when it gets hotter so to get a good gloss finsh to it BUT! do i spray a coat on let it dry then rub it down slightly then keep going like this? then finish weve a final top coat? how many coats should i apply? Hi there. Can anyone recommend the best kind off 2 stroke oil to use in a premix TY175. The guy i got it off says to use any kind of oil at 40-1.? Also did these bikes not originally have oil pumps? Any advice welcome. William

Does anyone out there Know the best way of making the clutch operation ona TY80 easier. The cable is fine. I'm sure this must have been done before so any suggestions will be greatly apprecited. Thanks

Hi guys, does anyone know which is for what on a 1981 349 as i will be adding a lighting kit soon. It has a green , pink and yellow wire but i'm un-sure of which one is for the headlight, horn and brake lights thanks Dave

Does anyone have an original rear axle spacer for a '75 MAR they could measure for me, or know where I can get one? My bike has a Miller flat sprocket conversion but I want to return it to the original dished sprocket so will need to find, or get made, the spacer to fit. Mick Annick

Hey all, did anyone catch Pegg & Frost's Perfect Night In, on C4 last night? About 5 minutes of Kickstart, including interview with P Purvis, and some great action from JR on a nice Beamish (chin strap present). With 24 entries in the Twinshock class on sunday, almost double that of any other class is this a sign of the times and twinshocks coming of age? Great trial again with the sections almost playing second best to the ride round!

next year i want to get into twinshock trials as an extra interest. i would really like to do the manx two day classic and need to know if this bike is up to the job. i cant quite remember these when they were new, and wondered if anyone can give me some idea of what they are like, and possible values now? i dont have a fortune to spend, but one of these has come up locally. thanks in advance. paul.
