Did any body see the 30 min Japan World Round At 5.30 yesterday on Eurosport 2 ? The comentator talked about the previous rounds.Does that mean these werent shown ?

The question has been posed many times about how many titles Toni Bou may win or indeed who may beat him. This raises a broader of issue of how riders are developed through the Youth and Junior ranks up to WTC level. The top 5 riders have not changed in many years, with only Doug's decline from 1st to 6th changing the consititution of the top five. What is notable is that the five World Youth Champions, all who have been crowned since 2005, currently riding WTC (Challenor, Wigg, Gubian, Brown & Dabill) with Ferrer having joined them in the last round, have not made an impression on the top five. 40 points up for grabs at the last 2 rounds in Switzerland, Fuji is on 250 after this weekend Doug is on 226 and Raga on 222. A fellow told me without doubt no one was practicing harder or spending more time on the bike than Fuji this season, and if he wasn't on his bike he was down the Gym working on keeping in top shape, looking at the results from the season this looks true to form and the man who wanted it the most went out and earned it. While sitting and watching the latest videos of the top riders training (bou, raga, cabes, jeroni) they all seem to be practicing stop permitted on outdoor terrain... Do the riders know something we don't?! A return to stop permitted at world level maybe?

Reading the Manzano retirement story, and posts from a thank you letter on todo trial one which I took a small quote from [Q]"As they say that way, also they left Joan Pons, Cobos , Alcaraz, and now until they speak of which Jarvis will not be next year in world-wide!!!!! [Q] Could be time to have one qualifier in Spain open to any rider, then the top three places could then go on to contest the world championship over a few rounds and locations which they choose, Fuji, Doug, Adam, then could save everyone else a lot of wasted time manpower and $$$$$, this would allow the rest of the world to get on and ride trials. Dani Oliveras has left Gas Gas and gone to Sherco, and will compete in the Main championship for the blue bikes.

Over here in Aus we get one 07 indoor and one 07 outdoor trial on satalite TV each saturday, I have yet to see Hawkstone, I know it was filmed because I was there! Has it been on TV in the UK, US etc:?

Did anyone see the indoor from sao Paulo what a killer, some of the sections were unbelieveably dangerous, Fajardo and Lampkin had to resort to spare bikes due to section damage of machines. Obviously the Brazilians were trying to do the riders a mischief!!!!!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong. Seeing there is a ladies world round is this weekend, the European Championships won't be held.

The Tarragona event in all respects looks to be one of the most scenic city settings for a outdoor world trials event I have seen. Boat watching the event from sea. The sections set up all in the city... including a Roman Coliseum, fantastic. As my screen name implies, ah, what a great City Trials.
