I spoke to Doug McNaughton of the Perth and district MCC today to ask about entry forms for the trial advertised in the t&mx news for the Monday 24th July at Comrie near Perth. Doug has assured me that the trial is on the Tuesday night starting at 18:30, so there is a misprint in the t&mx news. Is anyone else going to the trial and has it been held there before, any good? Cheers.

It's a Trophy Trial at Telfit? No timings and no regs published but if anybody is interested there is a 150 rider limit. Enquires via Richmond's website. It is not listed as a Championship Trial by the Yorkshire Centre.

Does anyone know what date the Midland Centre Christmas Pudding road trial will be this year? I think it's Redditch MCC that organises it. It clashed with my daughters birthday party last year, and I want to make sure that it doesn't this year. Thanks

If we get the weather thats been forecast the Bath Classic trial will go ahead on Sunday at 10.30am. We are meeting there on Sat morning to make a final decision.I went to the farm today, the lane to it and the car parking area are fine - but there is still quite alot of snow in the valley and the ground is frozen hard. Please check our website; http://www.bcmcc.org/ which will get updated at lunchtime. I really dont want to cancel if at all possible as its taken alot of effort to secure the venue which is new to our club, and has lots of scope. The sections will be marked out good and wide,no dangerous stuff.

Hi guys dont forget this Sunday 30th August we have round 8 of the Club Championship at Carsons Farm, Grange Mill near Matlock, Derbyshire. The venue will be signed off the main Cromford to Buxton road the A5012. I am told the nearest postcode for your sat nav is DE4 4HY but i have never used sat nav to go to this venue so i can not guarantee it is correct. I have borrowed a sat nav today and the post code is correct but it also covers two farms a quarry and a campsite so best to look for the signs into the venue off the A5012. Start time is as usual 11.00 am and there will be Expert, Classic Expert, Intermediate, Classic Intermediate and Clubman routes. Classes …

What an awsome event. Today (sun 13th jan) has seen a truly great event, with some really good sections taking in Low north camp in scarborough, followed by sections at ravensgill (as used in EY2DAY) For anyone who either competed today well done, those moor crossings were wicked, and the sections entertaining. A credit to scarboroughdmc for laying on the trial and a big thanks to the weather, not a drop of rain and quite mild. Oh yeah and well done to the winner ian austumule, a sensationsal ride. Will wait in anticipation for next years regs which im sure will fill up very quickly indeed. Roll on colonial.

Berkhamsted MCC have been going for 100 years. To celebrate we are holding a weekend of trialling at Sam Haslam's spectacular practise ground in Buckinghamshire on 12th and 13th July. Riders from all centres are welcome. To spice things up a bit on the Saturday (12th July) we are organising a club team trial. Teams of three on the hard route. Come down and take on the South Midland centre club teams. Represent your club with pride. One of the Berkhamsted Teams has already started making their team shirts... Sections for the team event will range from normal club hard route to a few of reasonable Novogar severity. No sketchy frame bending steps but plenty of good …
