  2. Manchester 17 MCC Ltd are holding the latest of their highly popular "Dead Easy" trials this weekend, Sunday 6th April. There will be the usual two-route main course, with the easier route being put on for Adult/Youth beginners & riders on twinshock/pre-65 bikes. The harder route is slightly more technical and suited to Novice/Clubman riders. As the club is actively trying to encourage younger riders we are also putting on a separate 2-route conducted trial. Consisting of 8 sections set over a small lap (so not too far for Mum & Dad to walk around) it is ideal for absolute beginner Youth C/D riders, those on small/medium wheel TY80/auto's etc (must be tr…

As I have not seen any write up or the results of this trial posted here or in TMX, I thought I would post this: Many thanks to Tongham Tigers MCC, the organiser and observers for putting on the first (but hopefully not the last) Don Smith Memorial trial on 19/09/2009. This was a well organised, well supported, first class event, with a social barbeque after the trial. Among the attendees were: Karen & Amanda Smith (Don's daughters), Gordon Farley, Colin Dommett, Charlie Harris, Gordon Adsett, Bill Wilkinson & Mike Jackson. There wer 91 entrants on the day of which approximately 75% were pre 67 and the remainder twinshocks. The course was 1 route, 3 laps of 12 se…

Adding spice to the battle at the front of the British Championship Dougie Lampkin has a confirmed entry for Yeadon Guiseley's round of the British National Championship at Brimham Rocks. With James Dabil, Michael Brown and the fast improving Alex Wigg also riding it's a great lineup and should make for a fascinating battle in among the Rocks at Brimham. Cram in a car because it's only a fiver entry for a car all occupants included. PLEASE NOTE:- Margaret Carter has held the entry open until the 22nd of July due to postal disputes and riders may not appear on the official list due to this.

A round of the Yorkshire Centre Championship at Addingham Moorside. Looks like at Least one Beta Evo will be there as well. Regs state 11:00 start. This Trial does have roadwork down to Emmotts but there is a Youth course that will stay at Addingham. As usual aSmall Wheels course will also be running for D and C class.

Yeadon Guiseley will be running a round of the Yorkshire Centre Championship on the 21st November Start 10:30. All Adult and Youth Classes including Conducted and Electric will be run on the day. The ADULT course will require Road Work so all bikes on that course will need to comply with the RTA. Insurance is available but check the regs on the site as it is limited. Youths will negotiate a course at Addingham Moorside.

Did the Dudley trial at Old mine in Kinlet last Sunday. Cracking trial...so thanks to all the organisers....also my first time at the old mine. I've noticed there's quite a few trials held there, which is good news, because I personally thought it was a really good venue. Would be nice to see the results though...are they online anywhere??

I've just returned from riding in the first day of the Dudley Clubs Two day trial at Mamble Farm. The sections contained three routes, so there was something for everyone. Any riders in the Midlands want a good event tomorrow (Sunday 10th July) then get along to this trial. Pete & Lynda Cartwright who run the club will be more than pleased to accept entries on the day.
