  1. Started by young girl sunt,

The Hillsborough Christmas Yorkshire Centre Championship Trial is still on tomorrow. We have been up and marked out today, there is a bit of snow on the ground and it is quite icy but we have altered sections and hope to have a good trial. Start is Double D Gates near Ughill 10:30am. See you there! p.s. will update on here if there are any changes to plans

Hi. does anyone know of any other legal practise ground around Rochdale besides cowm at whitworth ? Cowm is fabulous but they don't let trials bikes in on the last Sunday of the month. Been to Hawks Nest but it's a bit too advanced and Bumpy is too small. Any info appreciated ??? Cheers.

We have had much discussion this last few months on the potential change back to no stop at all levels. As Mick Wren has mentioned elsewhere there is little wrong with the Trials Scene in the UK with all champioships thriving with perhaps the exception of the Championship Route at BTC level. To be fair the championship route was never intended for the masses so maybe 10 riders isnt actually a problem. I've got no problem giving the ACU some credit for this, they set up the infrastructure under which the vast majority of trials run, by that I mean , Insurance, championships, training, calenders etc I prefer a long one or two lap trials and these events tend to suit no s…

Another Air Ambulance Program and more Trials riders been lifted out of nowhere. Just watch "Air Medic's" third episode "Stranded". Richmond Trial and Nigel Sharp stars!!!!! (Mind the pilots and nurses all refer to a "Trial" and the Prat script writer keeps referring to "Moto-x".) Available for the next three days on the BBC iPlayer.

  11. The Saunders trials school was absolutely superb, it was even better than last year, which took some doing! I'm hoping to put photo's on the gallery sometime today (just waiting for them to be emailed to me). The venue this year was unbelievable, set in a great piece of woodland - it had steep rocky gulley's, steps of all sizes, huuuuuuuuge steep sided banks, a bit of Yorkshire mud and loads of fast winding trails between sections. We had hot sunny weather, which made the going pretty tough at times especially when Steve made us ride a half-mile gulley twice! He said that it would be good practice for The Scott !!! Steve's method of teaching was brilliant as per last …

  14. Hi all, Sid here, based in North East London. Ive been biking all my life, but have recently got into trials. I want to get out a ride as much as I can. Working shifts gives me a shed load of free time during the week. I have just joined Berkhamstead MCC and plan on riding their ground at Nash Mills during the week. There is a club restriction of no loan riding on their practice ground. Therefore looking for people to ride with. PM me or contact on twitter @sidman10001 Cheers Sid

I have looked on the web but can't see any info for this as regards locations. I will be on the Island for the GP and would like to find out where the sections are on Sunday the 29th. As I shall be bicycle mounted I want to plot movements early to minimise toing and froing. Grateful for any info.
