Does anyone know anything about the moor to sea trial held on Dartmoor? What sort of bikes are eligible? Is it a classic for old bikes, are enduro/trail bikes suitable or is it strictly trials only? Any info appreciated.

Hi as a "returned rider", (under duress from son), I've been looking at the calendar t find events local to me. Found the one mentioned in the topic title and would like to attend, but it appears the secs' telephone number is incorrect - can anyone help? FS.

just a quick one to see if anyone is going to alvanley trials ground this saturday 9th may as there is a practise day on if so see you there i think it opens at 10am but not sure ???

Any reason why they were white lettering on blue background? I've been going through naming my photos and white on blue is FAR easier to decipher, even when plastered in mud than black on white. The mud becomes part of the black, whereas with no dark colours on the board it really is much better. Perhaps one for the SSDT to consider particularly as they don't have bibs to refer to if the board can't be read?

Anybody know if its open during the week for trials ?

There doesnt seem to be any NE trials events listed from April onwards? I use TC as my primary source for finding when and where events are on. Will they be posted soon or have they stopped? Where else will i find them?

Just read the Zona 1 blog site it appears they have taken over the lease for Nettleton Quarry and are turning it into a trials only practice ground !!! Good for them hope it goes well and great for all of us in the Gloucester area I for one have just down loaded my forms ! so all you riders in the area lets get behind them and support them in what must be a costly time consuming venture !!

Many people going? This is my first time just getting the bike ready looking forward to it now.

Where's the best place to spectate at the Scott? Despite living reasonably close, I don't know the area very well and I've heard that the roads around the more easily accessible sections get very busy so it's worth making the effort to hoof it a bit. Can anyone recommend somewhere to park up that's within reasonable walking distance of at least a couple of sections (I'm assuming that non-competing bikes aren't allowed)? Would the paddock be a good place to start or would I just be adding to the congestion?

Seems like other countries are boxing on with organising trials again... certainly France anyway... seen a 3 day event is happening in August and they are taking entries. Wonder how long it will be before clubs start putting events on over here again......

I have an ambulance now to carry my bikes around in and am REALLY keen to get stuck in, just need ANOTHER membership form (lost the last one) so things can get moving again. Any info much appreciated. Z.

We are going over to the Island for a long week to take in the trials and the Grand Prix. Is there anywhere to get hold of the route for this weekends trial before we arrive on Saturday morning?
