I was very suprised to see a couple of Yamaha Pinkies competing in the Scott on Saturday, and i think one even finished. Who was the guy on this , he got the biggest cheer through Underbanks. Great day, congrats to Dougie he's still got some in reserve.

Hi All, Well, I've finally assembled the awesome group of returning riders (me) amd newbies (skov and Nick the Chin) that is the.... ....Drum roll please... ...Last of the summer wine trials collective. We will compete either on trials bikes or in an old bath, makes no difference to us! Anyways, we really ought to ride the bikes at least once before unleashing ourselves on an actual trial. Poles Wood is not far from us; does anyone have contact information please? Many Thanks Graham

here one for you in my centre we have a system that states that once you make it to expert you cant be down graded at all now there is options with this 1. you ride out of class which is ok but we all entre 2 compete in a class otherwise what is the piont ? 2. if your over 40 you can ride in the clubman class against the non expert over 40 which is ok but they might get fed up experts ridin against them and stop competing themselfs cos there is no point as there is less chance of winning against experts 3. if you are made up to expert and your not over 40 but the step up is to big what can you do ????? there are many riders out there who are in 1 of these …

Final Entry List is out for the Forest Trophy Trial this Sunday. It's pretty similar to the provisional ones form this week. Very few alterations. I'm not likely to be available online for a while due to being stuck up a mountain, but will pick up Facebook updates to the Llanfyllin Trials site at least from time to time if you have any queries. There is some discussion at the moment concerning the practice of allowing riders to ask for a 'five' rather than attempt a section. Some organisers think that failing to make a genuine attempt at a section should be punished with more than five marks. I personally think that providing a rider asks for a five in person, then this is fine. What do others think? Should we be 'encouraged' to ride every section?

The Pinhard prize for 2007 has been awarded to Alexz Wigg.

This is really well worth a visit. The trials area was well attended but the show organisers could have made it a bit easier for the spectators to get to the trial sections. Those that did make their way over were treated to some great entertainment by all the riders involved. Well done to everyone involved in organising and setting out the sections and bringing together some of the top riders in Scotland. Every one of the riders showed some great skill on very testing sections. Worth the visit alone to see Gary McDonald take a run at a very steep hill and then jump up the side of a portacabin to the top!! For those of you not at a trial tomorrow it's on at Lanark…

Do any clubs offer day membership for there closed to club trials on a year round basis. If so has this resulted in any increase in entries.
