Local Trials rider has on Facebook that BBC Breakfast TV is at a Trial Tomorrow? No idea if it's true. But will be recording them to see.

As the Dirt Bike Show at Stoneleigh rapidly approaches, December 6-9, i wonderd who would be going? Its usually quite good for the trials riders and this year their is a dedicated trials village.

Hi, I used to race a bit of MX but been on the road for the past few years - I want to get back to off road as its much more fun! Thinking of either enduro or a trials bike (road legal) which I can scoot off across the many (legal) byways we have around here and mess about. So is there anyone who rides anywhere near here and can recommend places to me? I've seen a few groups of people heading off! I also am not sure on whether to go 2 or 4 stroke? How long would a fuel of tank last roughly? Any information greatly received! Thanks

Hi all I am very new in the trials scene and although really enjoying it, I am getting very frustrated at my lack of ability! I know that over time I will get better but I really hate coming last in the easy trials and would like either some one on one coaching or some informal advice about where Im going wrong. I know I cant rush the brake and clutch control side, nor the balace side but some clear advice would hopefully help me get some sense of achievement out of this great sport. I am based in Kendal, Cumbria but am somewhat limited by where I can practise. If anyone can aim me in the right direction that would be great. cheers Gunn

Anyone read the TTRG report? Some interesting numbers in it, that's for sure. Who's first with their thoughts?

Just thought I'd see if anyone was planning on heading to Bagshot Heath this Sunday! NHMC normal club round. At least 3 routes ranging from 1st time novice-able to down right suicidal-able! Lovely place to ride with good old fashioned hills as well as enough logs/rocks etc to keep the bunny hoppers happy! Will be riding a Scorpa sy125f - noticeable by having a blue rear fender. Hope to see someone from here, there! All the best! Pete.

Does anybody know if any of the North East dealers do demos on all bikes, and if possible ones with some decent trialing ground. Sadly one of last years biggest montesa fans is considering a change ! Thanks,

Can the Coc explain why the time limit was scrapped on Saturdys route Not sure why but I understand the time limit was scrapped on the Saturday? If this is the case what about the riders who rushed the sections or asked for a 5 so that they could finish within thier time limit. I also heard that some riders knew about the scrapping of the time limit during the trial. Was the a justifiable reason why the time limit was scrapped. As a Clerk of Course I was on the understanding that you DO NOT change or scrap time limits. This is drumed into you when attending the seminors at Rugby.

EVIDENCE SOUGHT ON GREEN LANES The CLA in the North is asking to hear from members with experience of vehicles, such as 4x4s and motorbikes, using green lanes as the Government sets up a new working group to look at the issue. The Green Lanes Environmental Action Movement (GLEAM), which is expected to be represented on this group, is seeking information about problems in as many areas of the country as possible to convince both the Government and potential allies on the group about the seriousness of the issue. I've been riding on some land in Cumbria for 4 years now with permission from the landowner, who I have riden with a number of times. The land however is a public right of way and I got pulled by a Police officer the other day whilst riding and he "Strongly" advised me to get the bike insured. He said that if I had been riding irresponsibly or where there were a number of people he would have nicked me!!!!!!!!! I have seen Police officers on the land before and they have not botherd one bit. So the question..... Do I need to be insured on this private land????? I was told that I didn't need it but now I have my doubts and will register the bike and get it insured if…
