Just wondering how many folks on the TC forum purchased this book and what are thier thoughts on it? I have seen the book and think it is a really brilliant piece of work, thats my humble opinion.

I just watched a video of day 3 of the SSDT is this event stop allowed these days? .

Who won the pre 65? can somebody post a link for please.

I was looking through the day one results and noticed the name D.Thorpe. Is this the former 500cc MX World Champ David Thorpe? I looked around and couldnt find anymore info.

What a fantastic result for Alexz Wigg. A rider from the south midland centre where there is not a natural rock for 100 miles taking the Scottish. I know the results have still got to be officially confirmed. It also makes my claim to fame of beating him once in a trial sound even better (I don't mention the fact that i was 22 and he was about 8 when I tell this story). Andy, As we are again nearing the time when thoughts are heading to Fortwilliam and Kinlochleven area ,it must be a good time to start the NO NUMPTIE CAMPAIN. against unautherised riders for the six days and pre 65. I am sure the organising club would be pleased for any help that T/C can give to stop the riders/spectators who still ignore warnings. Will you post photos ect.this year.

Just wondered how many people on here fitted a speedo to their bike for the SSDT. I am debating whether to bothor or not. This will be my second year riding Scotland and last year I had a speedo and horn. However the scruitineer's never even checked them etc. I know its the law to have a horn and speedo but I cant really rememer seeing many bikes with the correct items. I did a whole day with no rear mudguard and no number plate and the old bill didnt seem to worry as I parked my bike up next to them. I ride a Beta and fitted the standard speedo last year which I think lasted about an hour before it broke. This is probably my fault due to me crashing and falling …

Just finished watching the DVD of this years six days, I'd heard that it was a tough one but christ, rocks, rocks and more rocks with water thrown in for good measure. I was worn out watching it. Much respect to all those who finished it, I might be fit enough in about 10 years.

There are nine unidentified payments in our bank account (listed in a separate topic from last week) so that leaves twenty-five people who haven't paid, but haven't got in touch with us either to let us know their situation.
