Maximum 20 minutes for a 'Snack-Attack'.................wonder how many burgers we can shove down our necks now? Think I will be taking the 10 minutes and getting down the road, especially if it is raining....................or snowing Kinell rule 3.1 as you say hope somone else does something stupid so the Pi**taking goes to somone else Hey Mark, if you make Lagnaha too hard and timing too tight on Monday, you could have loads of Observers come Tuesday morning Hey I am only joking....................................

Andy, As we are again nearing the time when thoughts are heading to Fortwilliam and Kinlochleven area ,it must be a good time to start the NO NUMPTIE CAMPAIN. against unautherised riders for the six days and pre 65. I am sure the organising club would be pleased for any help that T/C can give to stop the riders/spectators who still ignore warnings. Will you post photos ect.this year.

  4. I've been pondering for a while as to the fate of one of the most famous sections in the world. Does anyone have any knowledge of whether it is still accessible either on foot or by bike? I think I heard someone say it is underwater in a reservoir? If anyone has any info at all I would be very pleased to read it!! Pete.

Reet time for a new SSDT topic. Top 7 or 8 world riders not riding. Majority of the entry club riders. Nothing mega about the sections, straight forward traditional no stop section. Probably more spectators watching at Lagnaha farm on Monday "if used" than most British champ rounds will get, WHY? From a spectators point of view, why will you spend more time watching a majority club entry ride , than probably watching the top world riders go at it on the mega stuff ?

At the request of a fella asking what are my thought's on riding the SSDT, and what have I learned from the event. Well it's a bit like work really, tha gets up eats thi breakfast then off you go, Monday is a bit like starting a new job, mad keen to get on with it and rush first few groups of the day, don't know why ? all trotting up the first two subs at Leanachan in the fancy new riding togs, well most, I'm the old bugger in wellies and ex army waterproof britches, past looking good for the sake of it, and the girls lost interest a long time ago. Never cleaned both subs yet, always manage to have one or two to keep the observers pencil active, then it's ower to Bradil…

As you know, the deadline for paying entry fees passed last Friday. We've now had a final listing of all payments received from our bank, which means that it's time to reallocate all the unpaid places and then get the numbers organised. However, there's a couple of problems, and that's where we need a bit of help from you guys! Firstly there are a staggering 31 unpaid places - it's usual to have a lot of riders who can't make it, but normally some of them bother to let us know beforehand! Tonight and tomorrow morning will be spent phoning and emailling those riders to find out whether they've actually paid or not so that we can get their payments sorted out or their pl…

So with c11 weeks to go, yep it will fly by Better get out and do some physical training. Who do you think is going to win? I actually thought last year that no one could beat Graham Jarvis in the natural flowing sections of the SSDT, and it was almost a dead cert bet...........but the wheel fell off the waggon So could it be Jarvis or Connor, Pascuet, Ben Hemingway,, Morris, Dabill, Bibao, Colley Add Thorpe, Austermuhle, Brown, MacDonald (local Knowledge!!!) into the pot, or... My bet could be with ''Taddy'' take the win, and best first timer, has that been done before OTH? Big John will know Gorgot 1983! Michaud ! Of course my bet for the win having had 2 ye…

Now i know the organising club, whoever they are as i have never been so not sure, for the Pre 65 event dont have a website so is there any way i can obtain a list of entries for the event? I was going to offer to observe while i was there but heard from a friend yesterday that they had offered but were told observers were not a problem. Theyre lucky then Would be nice just to see who is riding to see if i know anybody.

A quick question for all you with local knowledge of the Highlands. I will be coming up to the SSDT this year but one of my traveling companions cant stay the whole week so is looking to fly home on Thursday so I will be taking them to the airport, Easyjet fly out of Inverness and Glasgow but which woul be the easiest or most reliable airport to use, Inverness is 30 miles closer by my reconing but as I would imagine it is a smaller airport are the flight s more prone to being cancelled. Any previous experiances welcome.

Looking at last years in the program and still trying to sus em at the mo, but a good topic to talk about. [story, TC front page] The routes for the 2007 SSDT are coming together nicely, with some changes planned from the last few years, but the great news is that it looks fairly certain that Lagnaha will be back. Lagnaha is a series of great spectator sections - although many riders cringe at the thought of a fistfull of fives, they all secretly relish the challenge of beating those classic sections under the watchful eyes of hundreds of spectators! The two long days - Tuesday and Thursday - will remain much the same as previous years, but Wednesday and Friday will b…

My good mate and brother in law has put some more 2006 video on google earth. Some top riders including Ishy with his feet up (between dabs ). Seem a bit slow to me but I think its just my connection. If you want to see more of his video search for 'Kiss The Mudguard' (KTM) Productions. Enjoy.

Many of you riders will have seen two dodgy looking blokes in bright red XC-Ting rubber gear photographing at sections that other spectators couldn't get to very easily (This was me Bigfoot and my mate AGM). We went to sections most people other than the riders just don't get to see we also tried to capture riders looking there best in spectacular looking sections but still in control feet up. We did this on behalf of TRIALSPHOTOS.COM but as interest in last years event begins to be over taken by the 2007 event we feel releasing the 2006 ones will only help raise the profile of the event and TrialsCentral/TrialPhotos. Our efforts resulted in around 700 good shots. These…
