We need the support of the trials community to pull off these two great events at the country's premire trials venue... the fabulous Trials Training Center. Thank you for your consideration of this plea, and even if you wish to work one day, and spectate the other, I will see if I can get your gate fee waived for both days, or possibly free camping. Please let me know your availability as soon as possible.

Are Beta, Scorpa, Mont, Fielding any pro class riders this year ? Could I be U.S. number 6 ranked rider on a 157 Fantic . Ther must be a reason for 50% drop in the pro class from last year. Is it too expensive in both time and $ to compete in all the rounds. Are there too many rounds in a country this size. Should there be some insentives for the pro class riders, like no entry fees for anyone rid…

The "Fun in the Sun" two-day is quickly approaching. The dates are the 26th and the 27th of February. This year the events will be held at Hardrock Cycle Park in Ocala, Florida. Hello Folks, We have spoken of this in the past, and I am bringing it up again. I would like to see a short, 5 to 10 minute movie, made to introduce people to Trials. It would need to be kept short to hold the folks attention, for the people that had more interest, then they could look at other already produced movies to learn more. The idea here is to just be a "Spark" hopefully to light a fire in a new rider. One of the problems that many of us have encountered as we lent out movies of Trials is that many people who are not riders, who watch the video's come away saying something along the lines of wow, that is impressive! We have been doing an end of the year Vintage gate trial for about 5 seasons now in Watkins Glenn NY and the people that come just love it. We have been concidering trying to make a 3 part series out of it. There would be a Spring, Summer, and Fall event, with awards and ranking for season end. Classes will be only by bikes year. The top 3 overall finishers this season were 3rd Chris Arnold 86 ty 350 2nd Bill Caron Rigid frame Grapevine 1st Aaron Miller 74 ty 175 Any bikes with drum brakes and air cooled are welcomed. I`m off to Florida on the 11th of December till the 26th and wondered if there are any trials related events on around the Kissimee area during that time and any trials shops to look up also. Its a family holiday so wife and kids will be tagging along if there is anything on....but she doesnt know yet,best left till the last minute and say "I`m sure I said something about it before we came". Just received my 04 Duluth world round DVD, only watched the first day so far, but what a cracking trial. The rain may of spoiled it for the spectator, but the sections were brilliant in those condition. Doug, looked to be riding spot on, the crash and a five after, that! I would of put down to being shook up by the crash, then a chain off between two little rocks in a stream, just wasn't going to be his day no matter what he did. Best looking trial English type trial I have seen in another country, won't miss 05 thats for sure. Ho and get the DVD by trials TV, well worth it!! yours is on the way Kinnel.

Couple of notes from the Trials Training Center. We've put up a bunch more how 2 ride articles on the website, along with some additional photos and video clips. Chris Florin will do a winter training class during the Christmas holidays on T-W-Th, Dec. 28-30. This will be a great training opportunity for experienced riders to train with Chris, and also to try out the new Montesa 4 stroke as well as other new bikes. Bruce LeRiche will return to TTC in January after spending the holidays in his homeland of South Africa. I recently got one of the new Veritas bikes...a 26 inch. All aluminum frame with cable brakes etc. Sells for $349. I took it to Kansas for the last weekend of the Central Regional rounds and there was someone straddling it all weekend. We've had the 20 inch bikes and they will cause a "faceplant" really quick. The 26 inch is slow and makes falling much easier. If this sounds like a commercial, it is. But if I don't get the word out, they will be all sold to the bicycle folks before the REAL trials guys find out. anyway, sorry if sales info insults you, but you'll NEVER find a 26 inch bike like this for this price. ever. only 80 were made. I am new to the forum. I have been thinking of taking up trials for a while now and think this spring will be the one. One of the main reasons is it doesn't thrill me to ride circles in the lawn with my son. Now don't get me wrong any time on the bike is fun and I love watching him ride but I think I might enjoy it more if I could screw around with obstacles more. Anyway. Where do you go to find out what kind of events are in your area? Is there any good info on the web to start learning techniques before you actually get a bike? Thanks all!

You drew me out of solitary confinement but I simply couldn't stand to see post after post on balarina's, ice skaters or puckers [whatever you want to call them] in a topic with my handle at the top.
