  1. It's crazy I tell you, I mean , they give you all the other tools you might need , but not a plug spanner ? Then they have the cheek to give you a bl***y bottle opener, WHAT! So then gents, why is this ? Are KTM trying to promote alcohol or what ? And to top it off, a normal plug socket won't even fit in the hole ! How daft are the people that design these bikes! They can't even make the bash plates on time. (2008 EXC250F)

Can anybody help answer a question please? Montesa 360 H7 Enduro, fitted with Marzocchi forks, are the fork lowers made of magnesium alloy or plain old aluminium alloy? The yokes have 'magnesium' embossed into them. I've posted this in the Montesa section as well Thanks.

Does anyone know the wherabouts of a MotoGori Enduro bike. I used to own one back in about 1979/80. It was fitted with a 250 Sachs engine with a seven speed gearbox. (yes seven) It was a very peaky engine and most unsuitable for enduro unless it was over a flat field! I would like to find it if it is still in existance or a similar one that may be for sale. I never saw another one nor have seen one since. Any comments would be interesting.

After many other ideas about cures for my mid life crisis including a Nissan skyline, Mitsubishi Evo, Subaru Imprezza, Hayabusa, TVR Tuscan and a whole host of other stoooopid ideas, I'm looking at a much cheaper option tomorrow in Bristol - a KTM 640 Supermoto. This has sprung from a long line of standstill roadworks on my way to work and the fact that if I don't get there before 7.30 it takes me half an hour longer, plus the fact that I'd like another road bike, especially if it's one i can dabble off road with. It should have been a KTM 525 EXC, but I deliberated for one night too long and it got swiped from under my nose. Now for that I was going to buy supermoto w…

Hey all Looking to get a new motorcross bike for hare and hound racing. I ride the Midwest series and Wessex centre enduros so I need a bike that is quite agile and very torquey. I am currently in the sportsman class but will go up into the clubman class in 2009. Last year I rode a YZF 250 with a flywheel weight, but I am unsure to stay with a four stroke or go for a 300 2 stroke? I liked the YZF but am curious if there is anything better out there. Anyone have any experiences or recommendations? If anyone can advise me on these questions I would much appreciate it. What is a better bike for hare and hound, 300cc stroke or 250 four stroke? What manufacture of bike…

So. I will take my time to explain as best as i can. Sorry for my english So i bought a husky wr250 2007 ( i think) with no spark. After trying some cdi s i had around i got one working (by working i mean spark) tried to startnthe bike but all it does it pops thru the exhaust, after many days of fiddling around i removed the stator and flywheel case and look like it has an mini 4 hierro motoplat flywheel and stator. Tried retarding the spark but same results, then i had the ideea to take the cilinder head out put the spark plug next to the cilinder and i took a slow mo vid to see if the spark meets the piston at TDC and it does but then sparks one more time at btdc??…

  18. Fancy going a bit faster? I know we've got quite a few people around the southeast, so I thought this might be of interest to one or two . . . I was talking to Ady Smith of Ady Smith KTM off-road schools fame today, about the possibility of organising a two day enduro school at their Eastbourne site in January or February next year. This would be a step up from the more common "try out" or "experience" days, with the emphasis on improving skills rather than just "having a go". Previous off road experience isn't esential, but you'll need generally confident bike skills. The enduro schools are normally held in Rugeley, Staffs but Ady is happy to run one dahn saaf if the…
