Classic Trials

By request as it covers too many of the other forums

  1. Started by woody,

Has anyone got any idea when the regs for the Manx Classic come out and where to get them from. In previous years, by the time I've found out they are out the trial is already full.... I'd really like to do it this year along with the Manx National and make a week's holiday out of it as I've never done either. I e-mailed the club yesterday so waiting for their reply but just wondered if anyone on here knew - or even has a set already....

Hello Classic Trial Fans I had a great time with my father Mark (82 years old, former Ariel HT5 rider 1958 in Switzerland) Finally, I had time to put pics and clips on our club page. We were minders with our rented Micra for our German friends (tankstop, etc) What a rain on Saturday. Congratulations to all finishers! here the link: http://www.twnclub.ch/classic_trial_files/..._Trial_2006.htm needs ADSL, as many pics Maybe I will ad later some clips from the muddy section 14 on Sunday... Enjoy it. Riders, for pics in better quality email me. Patrick (Switzerland)

This looks interesting. I'd love to see Bernie ride again. From Todotrial As you will already know exists for several years a Championship of Europe de Trial de Cla'sicas (you can see the calendar of tests in zone 4 of Classic Todotrial) denominated Eurocup, that consists of six tests in six different European countries. Then the FIM has wanted to take a step and to harness the trial of classic more to the maximum creating a new exclusive international contest for classic motos, like it happens to other specialties like the speed, but this time for trial. Yes, one is World-wide about Trial de Cla'sicas, that will dispute for the first time in 2008 and that it will count…

I need a new tank for the Sherpa T 199 i'm restoring. Have looked at the plastic tanks that Bultacouk sell which are in a matt finish. Were the tanks originally in a matt finish, or should i spray the tank to a gloss finish?
