Just wanted to note that this year we are having Trials demonstrations right across this big country of ours. By working with the Canadian Motorcycle Show the sport of Trials has been given some great visibility. Last year Jordon Szokes had done a few shows out West and in Toronto. This year I jumped on the band wagon and tried to organize a show for the East Coast. In my efforts to organize it I found out that Stephen Fotheringham with ATAQ was already planning a Demo for Quebec city and Montreal. The Moncton show was the week in between the 2 shows so the show organizer was able to transport all the staging between the three shows and the Belanger family was nice enough…

The dates have been announced for the 2010 WEC Canadian National Trials Championship. Rounds 1&2 at Shawnigan Lake. British Columbia. May 22/23 Rounds 3&4 in Quebec - July 31/Aug 1st.

Just like to wish Trials riders everywhere a very Happy New Year As I grew up near Oswestry, I keep a close tab on what happens in UK Trials, and especially "The Tough One" held at Nantmawr. which was one of our old Trials practice spots in my day. We are happy and fortunate to have Steve Foord and Jake Cook living in Western Canada as of early this year - Steve is from the London area, and Jake from Yorkshire - they have both excelled with Foordy winning the Canadian WEC Championship and Jake the Alberta ATRA Championship.

For those people not familiar with what is happening in Canada -sometimes referred to as "The Great White North" this past couple of years has seen a new organizing body emerge, called the WEC - this stands for World Enduro Canada, and it was formed as an alternative to the CMA or Canadian Motorcycle association. - Almost out of the box - the new group were outstandingly successful, the Enduro riders loved the enthusiasm and expertise of the WEC, who scheduled a true National Series across this great Country. The Final rounds of the 2013 WTC Canadian Trials Championship, will take place this weekend Aug 31-Sept 1st in Quebec. - A poster with all the info: in both English and French, can be seen on the front page of Trials Canada.

The front page of this website shows a a pic of a CMA logo with the words - a Shake up in Canadian Trials. - To put the record straight, nothing has changed, except one person has decided to leave the well organized and well funded by the MMIC - WTC - Trials in Canada is alive and well under the umbrella of the WEC/WTC.

The Canadian Trials season is now over, and one name that dominated the Intermediate class, is that of Matt Fracy, son of former Canadian Champ Steve Fracy. - Although only 12 years old Matt won his class in all of the Vancouver Island events, plus the WEC Canadian Intermediate Championship - add to this a second place overall in the PNTA Series, and it is obvious that this young lad is a star of the future.

The first two rounds of the new WEC Canadian Championship Trials Series were held on the May long weekend in Summerland BC. - With 54 riders on Saturday, 55 on Sunday and 11 for the Vintage on Monday, a good time was had by all. The winner of the Champ class on both days, was Steve Foord, who recently emigrated from the UK - Steve was well known as a minder for both Graham Jarvis and Sam Connor. - The Sherco rider soon adapted to the Canadian terrain, and beat out the top riders from Vancouver and the West coast. Well my trip to the SSDT lived up to and surpassed all expectations. It has been a long time bucket list item and so glad I was able to make it happen this year... Already thinking about going again.

Hi, Am looking at emmigrating to Canada in the next few years and was wondering what the trials secne is like in/around Ontario? Any friendly Canadias able to assist? If there are any ex UK residents now living in Canada and riding trials would love to hear from you and ask for advise re: immigration process. Thanks

I will be spending some time this summer at my companies corporate headquarters in Calgary, Alberta. The time will be spent in two week increments affording me at least a few weekends when I could and would like to go see a trials event. I was just wondering how most people like to spend thier time on the pegs, here in Courtenay on Vancouver Island we don't have an official club so we mostly ride trail. where do you ride and what do you prefer? Trails or events or just a practice area?

New member (beginer)looking to get into the sport and want to know what levels of competition there are on vancouver Island. I have no interest in hopping around on one wheel so was looking into twinshocks and posibly building a bike so could someone point me in a direction for more information? So far looks like the twinshock requirments are Twinshocks, aircooled, drum brakes. Dan

Just bragging here.I can't help but post this.The SOVT trial in Brantford Ontario had 82 riders sign up and enjoy a great day with the help of Dual Sport Plus and other sponsors.
