The 2009 Columbia Cup Event Information - Brought to you by Puget Sound Trialers (PST) and Columbia Observed Trials Association (COTA) May 16 & 17 2009 will be the sixth anniversary of The Columbia Cup fundraiser trials. The event started as an excuse for a few of us from the wetter part of the Northwest to come down to Goldendale, WA and ride the dry grippy rocks. The City of Goldendale welcomes the riders every year and with the cooperation of the local landowners it is a very nice venue for our annual event. Over the years the event has been a major fundraiser for the USA and Canadian TdN Teams and the PNTA Junior Nationals riders. For 2009 we will once again…

May 16th this summer will be our first Bent Fenders trials of 2010. We have a lot to live upto to tie the Michiana event but we are really excited about trying an actuall vintage class. We will have a vintage A and vintage b class with a first place trophy for each. Vintage A will ride INT and vintage b will ride Nov. We also have a beginer class in Mota so this wont be a cake walk but we are determined to keep every metal tank orginal and every rider out of an ambulance. What is vintage you ask. We are calling that anything before built before 1990. Thats a huge range of bikes mono shock included. As always this is a party so try to stick around afterwards for some good…

Rounds 7 & 8 of the Central Regional Trials Championship will be held at Douglass, Kansas on November 1st & 2nd. Go to AVTA web site for full details and flyers. You can also get results from the other six rounds of the CRTC just like last year. If you've never ridden the quarry in Douglass then you're just not living right. Lots of fun and there's the bike launch Saturday night, too. Looks like all the classes will be decided at this event! We'll see you there!

I'm not sure if Jay is going to bring the Sherdaka out or not. Maybe just to demo it. It will be interesting to see what kind of bikes get dragged out from the corners of the garages. Some video of a trial we had at Orizaba mine in Arizona this past weekend. We only got video of intermediate riders because our normal camera person was not there.

Florida Trials Association is hosting the annual Fun in the Sun 2 day trial Feb. 27th and 28th 2010. Come join us at Hard Rock Cycle Park in Ocala Florida. Novice, intermediate, sportsman, advanced, expert, and champ lines will be set up. Cost: $30/day or $55 for two days for adult riders, $15/day or $25 for two days for minor riders.
