USA Trials Reviews & Previews

We're four rounds and two events down with the same amount to go! Haven't got the final results from NTTA on this past weekend's Lone Star 2-day but we're keeping track on AVTA's website at avtatrials.com and will post updates as we get them. Next event in the series is Octobertest in Scipio, OK - the pictures on the NEOTT website look GREAT! Should be a hoot, too. Oct. 17-18 We wrap up the CRTC in Douglass, KS at the Flint Hills 2-Day, Nov. 7-8. Some of the best trials to be had in the Mid-West - come join us! Greg

Just thought I'd share a couple pics of what to expect for those coming to the 1st ever AMA/NATC national in Kansas, this May 31st/June 1st. For those that don't know, Kansas isn't completely flat! Ark Valley Trials Association has done a great job preparing for this event. These pics were taken before clearing limbs and leaves, but now most of the areas are ready for ribbon! I am getting really excited about The MOTA riding season to begin. But I need to practice, So to narrow down my "training". I assume the first one is gonna be muddy, spring gotta love it. Sam, What type of terrain does your club have? Hills? Flat land? Tight turns? "Stadium" type sections? OH yea and how much snow you got right now?

Just thought I'd post a video of a potentially new area for our club here in SE Kansas. Hopefully we'll be hosting an event here in '10. The video barely represents the amount of obstacles this 200+ acre land contains. A truly amazing place, big thanks to Ron and Leah for being such gracious hosts and letting us ride. (sorry for the shakiness, a bit of arm pump)

Trials in Western New York has been organized since 1976 by the AMA District Four Trials Committee. All events start at noon. Competition entry fee is $15. $10 for kids 16 and under. Any updates on the Youth Nationals down at TTC? I have not seen results or anything on TTC site.

Our next event is Dolores Co on Aug 9/10 with all the fun of the usual format of riding in the Town Parade and then 36 sections a day. This year is NOT a National and the sections will therefore be slightly easier. Full details of all the section building are up and coming on the "blog" so you can see what is on offer. 9/10 Aug is the Town's Escalante Days festival so accommodation is tight. Just A reminder 3D Trials club next event october 5,2008 at Hunter Mtn,N.Y.This is a brand new site for us and is truly a world class venue.If you have never been to this area it is very nice.They have held many world class events here.From world cup mountain biking to ski and snowboard events.Terrain is very poen and lots of big gripppy rocks and many boulder feilds.There is a Octoberfest going on the same day plus there will a BMW demo of there motogp bikes you can try up one of the ski slopes.They also have the chair loft open for site seeing and for the crazy down hill mountain bikers.Lots of good motels and resterants in the area.Hunter Mtn, web site www.huntermtn.c…

The Michiana Trials Riders are hosting another M.O.T.A / TI Championship Event in Ligonier, Indiana. The event will pay points for both M.O.T.A. and TI series and will also have classes for VIntage and Champ RIders. I will get a table of how the classes line up for M.O.T.A. and TI soon. Daryl is also planning on getting a pig to roast for Saturday night. No word on whether Ted Nuget will be performing. Congrat's guy's on an excellent trials. I really liked the long, open, challenging sections. You really had to have a good ride to clean them, but nothing too difficult.
