Hi everyone, I own my 2014 tri280 over 7 years. I use it only a few hours a year in my backjard. No oil changed or repairs were needed. Untill now. The clutch is starting to give problems: When "clutched" ( i mean brake connection between crank and gears) it starts to drags al little. I have to brake otherwise it will slowly drive away. The point of engagement (? if this is the correct term, im not sure) hasnt changed. When "not clutched" there is no slip at all. (sorry about bad english, i try) So before taking everything apart I read as much as possible. Found ossa-efi.com. Thanks a lot Konrad for your work. I found stuff reg…

Hi, Anyone have a wiring diagram for TR77? Looking for information on the magneto wires, I have 4: Black - Ignition Yellow - ? Green - ? Pink - ? I am assuming one is for the horn, one for lights and one for brake light. Carl.

Hi all I’ve just picked up an Ossa 300 - 2014. It’s got the updated battery pack helper on the front end with the AAA battery it’s got a decent spark, but it just won’t start i cannot hear the fuel pump at all, ive cleaned the injector and tested that with a 9V battery and it’s working fine when are you meant to hear the pump prime? First/second kick? I have the fuel line off the injector and nothing is coming out

Just added a section to my website on identifying model years based on VIN and motor number. See it here: https://www.ossa-efi.com/home/factory-documentation/model-year-identification I would love to gather more examples, and possibly even create a registry of where bikes are roughly located. If you don't want to share your complete VIN, even the 10th character would be helpful. Likewise for the motor number, the two characters after the "I" would be helpful. I'm especially interested in finding examples from 2015. Feel free to contact me by PM.

2015 Explorer I need to replace the clutch fixer shaft and bearing. I removed circlip and I assume after heating the case, it should just tap out- bearing and shaft? It did not come out easily tapping from other side, so thought I would ask before trying again, perhaps with a slide hammer.

Hi everyone, as promised i'm sharing the entire 2012 Explorer 280i project to provide as much information as possible to those who need it. Here is the bike before complete disassembly: The bike starts (with difficulty) has good compression (forgot to test it before opening the engine), the gears are ok (neutral doesn't go in easily), the engine's electrical system works but nothing of the Explorer's additional system works; A 12V battery with flying wires that activates the pump and ECU has been added by someone previously. The engine runs very very rich and makes a lot of smoke (the locomotive from Back to the Future III makes less smoke) …

Restoring 250 OSSA (believe it’s a TR77). Fork stanchions are pitted and could do with replacements. They look like Betor 35mm but the stanchions measure 610mm, replacements stanchions for TR77 are listed as 585mm. Anyone come across 610mm stanchions fitted to OSSA?

Hi I have the rim and the hub and 36 x 90 degree spokes. I'm told they can't all be 90 degrees, half of them have to have a lesser angle. Anyone know what that angle is please? Its a front, 21 inch Akront from a 1974 MAR 250 Cheers Sid. Update.. The bike was a basket case and came with just the front hub and rim, no spokes. So.. In my ignorance I ordered 36 90 degree spokes from Poland because they were half the price of the Ossa kit. WRONG! I should have asked yous for advice first. There are two sets of eighteen, inner and outer with two different angles for each. I've just ordered the correct spokes from Trial World Thanks all fo…

Hello I just bought my first bike at 52. Always wanted a trial bike as a kid and I thought I'd better get on with it. Anyway I got a 72 MAR recently. It's in bits and mostly complete. Of all the parts I can't seem to get hold of it's a kick-start lever. If the bike was built up it wouldn't be such a problem but obviously I need to turn the engine over to build it. Anyone know where I might get one? I'm guessing they're the same as other Ossa models.
