So Toni Bou, not unexpectedly, won the 2007 Outdoor WTC to match his indoor title. Laia Sanz won the Women's 2007 European title and should surely gain another world title. Dani Gilbert won the 2007 European Championship and Montesa sealed its second consecutive manufacturers award. These 4 strokes will never catch on.

There is someone on e bay selling a Cota 123 alloy tank and fibreglass seat unit on e bay. Item number 400405789788 and 121061211589. Does anybody have any idea if this will fit my MH123 ? An alloy tank would be so much better than my one piece fibreglass one. How does the alloy tank fit to the frame too ? Is it just bolted on at the front ?

I have a 2015 4rt (standard) fitted with a twin map PTB. I'm toying with the idea of either buying a new 2017 4rt, or spending the £1500-£2000 it would cost to upgrade on mods for my 15. Keeping in mind that I already have a PTB. What mods would you want for your 4rt, if you had £2k to spend?? Flat tank? Ohlins rear shock? Termignoni exhaust? Mitani exhaust (front pipe or full system)? Shock link plates? Different anodised "bling"? The list is endless! But if you had the 2k what would you buy?

Hello everyone, Just thought I would share with you my current experience of a 4RT. I currently ride a 2006 Beta and am looking at treating myself later this year. Have been looking at a Factory Sherco or a Vertigo, then my cousin who currently rides a 2015 4Rt said "why don't you try mine?" So yesterday I rode a trial on it and my god what a bike. Completely threw me off my guard, lovely balanced bike gave me loads of confidence and such smooth power delivery. Don't get me wrong conditions were wonderful and I only rode the Novice, but rode every section in first gear and cannot get over how much torque it has and how smooth it was. Hello, I am looking to purchase a PHBH26CS carburetor as I destroyed the threads that hold the bowl to the body on my 1997 montesa cota 315R

My 2014 Repsol is nearing that time of wanting a new tyre on the back and having pretty much ridden on X-Lights since they came out that would be my first choice but have a vague recollection of hearing of folks having problems with them on 4rt's ??? All feedback greatly welcomed, as don't want to shell out and then find I have problems. Also anyone know whether a Sherco, GG or similar wheel is likely to fit the rear as I really want a spare practice wheel and am guessing finding a Mont wheel is going to be challenging and probably pricey. Again any advice would be most helpful. Cheers

Hi Compared to my 2012 beta evo the mont front brake is poor I don't mind spending a few quid of better brake. I'm not too worried on sticking to original montesa specs Can brand new modern gasgas,sherco or others brakes fit straight on? Thanks

hi guys, Im going up a 315r i think 1998, The yokes/triple clamps appear to have been shot blasted by the previous owner, but having looked at a few on ebay im not sure is this the normal finish for the monts or not?? Can someone help as i'd given them to a friend to powder coat silver because i thought they'd been blasted by previous owner best close up shot i have at the minute is included

Hallöchen liebes Forum, ich besitze einen defekten Zylinder einer Montesa von S3. Bei diesem ist leider die Nicasilbeschichtung abgeplatzt. Suche einen Interessenten, der diesen gerne für einen guten Preis erwerben möchte. Selbst fahre ich keine Montesa und habe somit nicht viel Ahnung auf welches Modell der Zylinder passt, bzw. welcher Hubraum sich aus dem Zylinderkit ergibt. MfG Benjamin Gems
