have you got any wd40 or similar if so spray it on the nut let it soak for a few minutes then give it a bit more stick make sure the bike is steady you dont want to pull it onto yourself

hi ive been on a trial on the 348 today in 1st gear it makes a grinding scraping noise and when dropping the oil it is more like glitter not good. so i was wondering does anybody have any advice on this engine common problems i have never split a crankcase so im a bit scared is there some kind of workshop manual for this bike thanks

honestly mate have some confidence it is easy you will do it fine

just go for it mate very easy to do just take your time

i was just going to ask if the valves where to release pressure or if air assisted what pressure to run at hope someone knows

if you join the 2 thermostat wires together the fan will run constantly then start the bike and check out the fan speed could be worn out or there is something trapped in there

id change the points and condenser whilst the flywheel is off and give the flywheel a really good clean but when you refit it it should be fine

woodruf key is just a D shaped lump of metal that holds the flywheel in the right place

hopefully il be there on sunday and clay come along

kind words thanks rob is 16 and probably going in the army in september so going to get out with him as much as i can wont get much chance after that the practice ground is nant ucha in trevor north wales lovely little valley nice shallow stream in the bottom

just bought one in decent condition just a few questions why the plastic tube over the chain can i bin this and use a tensioner i have seen one on in motion site are the swingarm bushes easy to do mine are shot also rear wheel bearings anything unusual or just knock out type oil change ? two different types what amount and what type thanks for your help neil
