did you fit the tire your self? are you sure you are getting it on propperly? i have used vee ruber tires and never had this happen if you are getting it on rite and thats not the problem then you must be needing a new rim. you should stick the rim lock back on it too that will help a little asumeing you get the tire on to the rim propperly.

hi everybody i have a Noise from my top end on my montesa 4rt 2006 i have ruled out the tappets as its a tapping sound what ealse could it be there is a little movement in the cam shaft?

you should be able to buy the o rings on there own for the pistons i am not sure of the part number for the gasgas but i am sure you could get the part numbers from a gasgas user manual failing that you could allways buy a oring set for about 6 7 squid and there might be the right size in there.

i am still waiting to see it on tv too any one know for sure when it will be on?

i think they all ride difrently as long as they are not copying one another then it can only be a good thing for the rider and compatition is good i personaly would not buy any thing other than a montesa its also good for the prices as they should come down if there is so meany manafaturers about

yeh well i presume all the red that is on the bike on decals and the mud guards are the same red so thats the colour i need to find out what the code is or name if that red?

the sections were great. a good mix or river corses and what seems to be the more traditional sections for world rounds. there was a few moans about the walk over from the car park to the sections but i think it was more than worth a little walk to see the event i think the top sections were the best to view but the sections down by the bridge was also good and if u could not be botherd walking or wanted some thing to watch while eating lunch there were the sections in front the grandstand i think it was a great weekend numbers were good for viewing but not as high as i expected.

i would go for the montesa 315 good 1st bike lots of parts on that well knows auction site for them all the time and generaly a very reliable bike.

if its smoky then its most likely got too much oil in the mix and its an old bike so i wouldnt expect it to pic up quite so well as a new bike will probly be needing a service

i have a user maual but the settings are difrent to 5 and 12 they are more like 12 inlets and 20 exhaust would that be rite for a 2006? is it difrent on later models?

i have a slight rattle from the top of the barel and it gets quicker when i rev it could it be the tappets needing adjusted? can any one tell me a easy way to do this or some tips on doing it? i.e how do i know that it is at the top end of the compresion stroke? how can i most accuratly adjust them? any help please

hehehe gasgas if he had a monty that would not have happend swing arm just snaped clean off did not even look like it was getting enuff to just snap like that

if you are trying to get the waight down h&d raceing do titanium spindles front and back and the swing arm spindle too for a 4rt.

how old is the bike? you could try overhauling it with a caliper overhaul kit and a break overhaul kit that should improve it as the back break on a 4rt well my one is prety good mabe just needs adjusting check your service maual on how to do that.

cool so how can i get a new lock?

hi does any one know where i can get a key for the lock on my fork on my montesa 4rt? its a small brass barel at the top of the forks in the middle its under where the number board goes???
