i am a clerk of the course and he would have been kicked out the trial and not allowed to ride in the club again. and also reported to the governing body of the sport .we are all volenteers and dont need abuse like that . hope he is proud of himself.

we use braking pads and never had a problem. and it rains in scotland.

the tyre allways moves on a tubeless rim,so sealer wont be any good.if you marker pen it from tyre to rim and do a trial ,it wont line up at the end of the trial.

check woodruf key in flywheel ,possable timming fault.

check the engine main bearings are not noisey as this was a problem with the early ones.check you suspension linkages for play, you would need to strip down and grease anyway.just check the whole bike and make sure it seems ok. it looks good in the photo ,but not worth lots of money. a very good bike to start with , not to powerfull, hope this helps willie.

you can fit a sherco one with a little modification .and it tucks out the way more. a lot of our lads done it on there 4rt,s same as 315.

mind fit new sprokets as well, or your defeating the purpose. old sprokets will reak the new chain.mind the chain pad.

we have had 3 first s s d t was 1996 good and reliable ,grip like hell ,good ones are now hard to come by.hope you enjoy it.

great bike. if its good condition it wont give you any trouble.clean the air filter and grease the suspension thats all we done for the hole week my son done his first s.s.d.t.

done a 01 last week and only had one seal.

it will probably be the stator .check with a meter to see if there is any power coming out. if not remove and send to a rewinding company. they advertise in most papers .maybe on t/c .they wont take long to rewind it and not to dear .hope this helps.

if its a 01 sherco it has only got one seal in it .i would fit a shaft as well,the shaft is a bit pricey but if you dont it wont last to long.

not the first one in scotland , we sold the first one last week. the 2011 sherco,s look the dogs b????.

after you wash and dry your bike spray it with silicone spray. watch you dont get it on the brakes .it protects your spokes ,plastics electrics etc ,+when you wash the bike the dirt comes of easier. we have done it for years and keeps them looking like new.

no far to big , you would have to open an account with beta for rear mudguards.

they are 05 plastics dbf.still worth checking frame number.

what colour are the plastics.

could be running to lean. we run ours at fully syn 100 cc to 5ltr unleaded and never have a problem. all sherco pullers are the same+ beta one does as well. there is a mark on the stator ,should line up with casing at 1 o clock.

if you were entered in the B route the B route you should have been doing. when you go through the start cards of a section you are legally doing that section, as for coming out before the end cards results in a 5. read the rules about trials and it will explain this. if you wanted to try the A route you should have waited till you had finnished and went back for a play .hope this clears up this problem.

we run all our bikes on full syn ipone samurai and ordinery unleaded at 100cc oil to 5ltr petrol and never had a problem.

could be worn clutch basket.hold basket and see if you can move gear back and forward ,could be worn rivets.

check your clutch basket the rivets on them and it moves back and forward. fitted s/hand one last week and it cured the problem.
