dog **** could last as long as the tyre.you get a pack of five ,we have used the hole five at once and worked.you need the tool for puting them in.remove one strip and put it in the tool, half way up the strip. put it in the tyre half way up, remove the tool and thats it. dont cut of the eccess, just leave it.if not enough add more.hope this helps willie.

hi mexmex take money with you each day as there is a lunch stop with a snack van.rear dunlops are usualy around
-
better getting it tig welded.
-
sorry smallboy only been repairing trials bikes for about 35 yrs (what do i know) even (gas gas pdi sheet) says drill a hole in cover, but what do they know. listen to mobbster he knows better.
-
drill a 6mm hole in the bottom of the cover .let the electrics dry out and spray with wd40 or similar. refit cover and should be ok.
-
give the barrel a clean with some emery cloth and oil , and it saves you paying someone to hone it.
-
check the woodruf key in the flywheel, its probably sheered.if the engine was reving that much the kill switch wouldnt stop the engine. cheers willie.
-
we use putoline light gear oil and works perfect.
-
one main thing gizza5 forgot was a spare chain tensioner pad,a must have.every else seems fine.see you in the fort. ps mind bring sun block?.
-
braking pads never had a problem with them.and they wear well aswell.
-
birks will definetly wont be happy . hes invested a lot of money into this venture. i bet he was hopping for a big return after sheffield.as for riding gear thats a lame excuse.not a good way to start a season or sell bikes.
-
my son is expert status up here in scotland and is around 16 stone.been riding trials since 4 year old .rode every bike hes had in std settings and never had a problem ,done ssdt,s and british champ,s on sherco,s.the only time he adjusted suspension was when he does moto cross.
-
it was only the very first batch with fuel tank problems.the were not baffled and they were just stitched together not welded but never had anymore trouble after being modyfied.
-
nothing wrong with a 290 there are plenty ways to calm it down ,not like some moderm bikes.i know more beginner/novices on 290s than 250s in scotland.check all obvious parts on the bike and check engine. early ones upto 05 were prone for noisey main bearings. price if very tidy worth
-
you think an 09 is wild you should try a 2011.
-
putoline dx11 chainlube.dont put it on just before you start the trial as it will fling of.after you wash your bike oil chain then.it will dispence all the water in the chain and have time to do what its supposed to do.
-
to tame down a 290 you can put on a slow action throttle, upto 3 base gaskets and also retard the ignition. try throttle first and go from there. willie
-
i used that paint from halfords on a sherco tank.filled with petrol spilt some and the paint washed off. painted it with celleloise and was fine , sorry about the spelling.
-
if you are just a beginner it will be hard work.you are better buying a modern bike.buy as good a bike you can afford , it will pay its way in the long run.if you buy an old bike to start with its hard to ride and could sometimes put you of trials.hope this helps willie.
-
welcome steve mont a good bike to start with. what club is it bon accord.
-
they dont fit some people very good you would have to try one first.try a nau helmet they fit really good.
-
bought 02 vivaro just over a year ago with faulty g/box but got it cheap. got g/box rebuilt and a laguna diff in it.higher ratio ,in 6th gear its 500rpm less than std + got it remaped.puts out 130+bhp and goes like sh,, and great fuel mpg. done over 22,000 mls in the past year and its always loaded.never gave me any trouble in that time, and drives like a car.and they dont rust like a transit or a vito.
-
not really anything wrong with the 2010 same engine etc, handles really well ,not as many problems as the first evo,s. have a shot of one in your club stuart and make your mind up.or just buy a 2011 great deals before 2011? i would think.
-
wee have a sportsman class in scotland . scottish champs. main route is premier next is sportsman then clubman .sportsman is for the better c/man,and the sportsman is for the experts who dont want to do the premier any more.if you are exp and under 35yrs you dont get champ points, over 35yrs you do .you can win it only once if an exp,exp can keep on riding in sportsman but dont get champ points.
-
use the raceline heavy duty ones with the extra loop . they work perfect , used them for years without a problem.
