It's for a 2005, but as far as I can tell, most of the tech bits are the same for servicing.

Stalin (communist) is estimated to have killed about 20 million of his own people.
-
From what I've read, it's the same old engine with some new HRC parts, but I could be wrong.
-
Speedo, horn and if you have any lights fitted, they must work. Your number plate must be the legal size, ish ;0) and mounted vertically, not stuck to your mudguard, its not illegal to stand up, but a police officer could pull you for not being fully in control of your vehicle (in his opinion) and accuse you of dangerous riding :0(. Your tyres should also be inflated to a pressure suitable for road use and use the appropriate hand signals to inform other roads of what your intentions are ;0). ( one coffee for me too, is not considered good road etiquette ;0) ) don't forget to either keep the tax disc with you or stick it on you bike somewhere, as it a legal requirement to display it.
By the way Lee, if you pop around, I've got the template for your fuel tank you wanted, unless you can wait until the NBMCC at chilton.
-
Rossi IS BACK to his old self :0). Roll on the rest of the year.
-
Ref your clutch, what year is your bike and what transmission oil are you using? Only use Elf HTX 740 in the transmission for the best clutch operation. Ref reset of the throttle, open the throttle fully to the stop and hold it open while slowly kicking the kick start a couple of times, release the throttle and kickstart the the bike without touching the throttle. Let the bike warm up (from completly cold) until the radiator fan comes on before touching the throttle or riding.
-
You forgot to say...........
"I'll be back"
I've done it 3 times myself, but it doesn't take long before I need another dose of fun and return :0)
All the best in what you do for the future.
-
Vw caddy maxi, can fit 2 bikes and a single rear seat (can revert it back to a 7 seater in about 10 minutes) 2.0 140 tdi DSG, pretty quick and averages 50 mpg and when I had nowhere to go fast, 63.9 mpg :0).
-
I thought you had sold your kids trials bikes and bought MX bikes, due to no one in trials wanting to finance your ambitions for your kids.
-
-
Craig's motorcycles are the new distributor of Montesa in the UK.
-
First words by Jonathan, "I can't believe how light it feels" ;0)
Anyway, good luck for the future, hope you get back on track with some success this year with your new team.
-
No mods to cases as far as I know, but I'd advise dual map TB. More torque and power everywhere.
-
-
JB, trying to send you a PM, but I can't.
-
As requested, JB, in the show your 4rt thread (as I don't want to hijack the OP thread)
-
-
Why don't you just run it with the standard head, run it in and then have the 280 fitted at a latter time, it's a fairly easy job to change the head if you've got some mechanical knowledge and a torque wrench.
-
Fakes can be just as nice as the real thing, just not worth as much for some reason.
4rt's are like Mini's, lots of accessories to personalise your bike and make it yours, it'll just cost you an arm and leg ;0).
-
Last few years the difference has been, Repsol colour, carbon fork covers, carbon fork brace, carbon headlight, carbon clutch cover and carbon header pipe protector and silencer cover.
-
Not sure about the earlier ones, but the bike should have a limited edition plaque mounted on the O/S near the headstock of the frame. It may have been removed, but the owner should have it. The original bill of sale should describe it as a Repsol Replica and you could also contact Pidcocks with the frame number.
-
For the relatively small amount of cash it cost (£74), it's worth trying, I'm 88kg and have a heavier spring, it rides better IMHO and the suspension is now working correctly for my weight.
-
2013 Monts are the same as the 2012 bikes, no change. As for a new bike, that would be a 2014 bike, I'd say if there was, it would be a 4 stroke, because as far as I know, Honda don't manufacture 2 strokes anymore and I can't see them building a 2 stroke just for trials.
-
Will get another pic up when I have time. The mont is the GS of the trials world, with Mitani selling just about anything. I've got the H&D ti suspension plates and have to say I like the feel, although I have the damping on a tad slower than without them.
-
Get either a 27 or 30mm Mitani titanium header pipe and mitani titanium silencer, it'll compliment the 280 and TB, giving more torque and power, whilst also sounding nicer and loosing a substantial amount of weight at about half the price of a Termignoni (its also lighter than a termi too). S3 foot pegs/repsol alloy hangers, mitani flat tank/future alloy fuel tank base with carbon hose/alloy bango bolts (original can go rusty from water in the fuel). Future cabon hoses all round with alloy bango bolts. Your wallet will be substantially lighter, but, as they say, "you can't take it with yah" and yah live a short time, but yah a long time dead.
One final thing, change the rear spring for one rated to your weight, makes a big difference, as the shock then works how it's meant to (most people just wind up the spring to compensate for their weight, which messes up the internal settings), cost
