If we're guessing (that's all we can do with a photo) then above diagnosis is where I'd place my bet.
I've seen an example of 'de-formation ' where the swing arm pivot goes through the frame then the back of the engine on a pro...not pretty

Where exactly..what did you clean it with?

What's the difference between Jack Daniels and Amy Winehouse?
With a Jack Daniels, adding coke, brings it to life.

What did I say??
Patience my padawan learner.

Scorchio !
Back on track:-
My dyslexic friend sent me a text yesterday telling me that someone had died from an overdose, in London ,in an army wharehouse??

No,n,n,n,no, the geezer rolling in the black gi (canvas pyjamas)is a professional(hear what he says about weak points in the shoulder),I do it to keep fit .
I roll no gi .I'd post up a vid but it looks a bit homo-erotic and I don't want to get the Scotchish people aroused...it's not fair on the sheep

I sense your frustration but it's gonna take time....If it is rotator cuff physio you're talking about then you simply can't go 'heavy' on it...the exercises involved are for stimulating very minor ligaments/muscles and it is very easy to overdo it and set back your recoup time.
This is how I got my injury (too stupid to tap out early ! )...
This is how it's treated..
-
Yup, a clear case of 'flag-itis'..I can't shake it off either.

The vice squad raided Kermitt's lilly-pad today .They took away hundreds of naked photos and videos of Miss Piggy .A police spokesman said it was the largest ever quantity of frogs-porn!

I wasn't going to ask ...I'm a plodder and it doesn't seem to affect my scores if it's non or no stop but I could watch the top boys playing, all day.

Hi Wayne,
I'm not a Gasser Pro owner but I've had a quick tootle on a few and something they all had in common (when they were new) was stiff/wooden marzocchi forks.
Don't get me wrong, when they get bedded in they are the sweetest around IMHO.
Just get some fat lad to do drop off circuits on your bike !
-
I'm not getting any younger.
Re-coup' took about 6-9 Months ...it's still not 100% but I didn't want to be opened up so... ?!
It's not all negative though, some of the lads that I roll (Jui Jitsu/man-cuddling term )with have had very successful re-construction surgery.
Some of these JJ guys are gorillas but the rotator cuff is such a common injury to a femma' ligament that it could happen to anyone.
I'm not even sure if body-armour would have helped you...something that's been on my mind lately because of recent events.
Chin up old boy !( not the exercise )
-
Patience m' laddo..
I only 'strained' my rotator cuff a while ago and it took ages to sort out.
-
Myzeneye, Everybody on TC has had to learn a lesson or two about trials 'in the real world' ...I'm still learning

I know there are some internal technical differences from 04 to 06 that other 'Gasmen' can help you with but I suggest you get familiar with foot peg location on all three models (year)...GasGas progressively moved them back-over year on year...if I remember rightly
-
GOOGLE your ideal app requirements (YouTube to MP3 file conversion) and you should get a choice of suitable programs to download.
There are even YouTube instructional videos.
I've done it myself but it was so long ago I can't remember which one I used
This mild act of piracy was to get a digital copy of a track (that I own on vinyl) which is not available on CD format...''Capstick comes home''

There is another reason why a Sherco will over-heat it's silencer (I've seen it before, very dramatic)...a dodgy stator ?!
-
I can recall many people questioning the 2% pre-mix sticker on the Sherco frame !
I must be getting old as I can remember a couple of exhaust re-pack 'how to's ' on here but it looks like they're so old that they've been deleted.
There appears to be two main chambers in the Sherco exhaust ,one filled with stainless wire-wool and the other filled with the fibre-glass type of wadding.
The two re-pack options ,posted on here, were to cut a window (on the shock side)or split the exhaust down the length of the middle seam (top 'n' bottom) then clear out/re-pack and re-weld the two halves back together.
I had this procedure professionally (pah) done but the re-welding melted the packaging so the bike remained noisy....no further forward really .
De-greasing agents did seem to work, up to a point.I used to soak mine for the two weeks I was on family holiday ,then drain it and dry it out, for a couple of days, when I got back (never needed my asbestos underpants when I re-assembled and tried it !)
As an aside; someone posted up pics of a yellow SWM that had a very well fabricated 'inspection' plate in the exhaust. I think that's the way to go.

BIG DISCLAIMER### I'm no expert..but:-
(ONLY practice this on dry tarmac first )
Turn the bars slightly to the right, lean bike slightly to the right.... and time this all together:-
1) Grab front brake.
2) Push forward ont bars (bias to the left).
3) Collapse your knees.
4) Move your hips 'n' heels left.
Then ,err, land !
***The 'bar turn' and 'lean' procedure really seems to make the back end 'buck-up' easier, compared to having the bars straight and bike perpendicular***..I don't know why?
This helps me get the feel for the technique.
Then practice to the left...then lessen the lock 'n' lean on less grippy surfaces.

Do you mean Marc Bolan of T-Rex?
I think it was a tree that did him, bloody women drivers.
