If you take too many, the first sign is that your d**k shrinks and then you lose the ability to carry out small, dexterity tasks like...... typing

Aw c'mon CK, Vietnam only produces 320,000 barrels per day so it was hardly worth it.
  3. That article may have been related to a Tc member who is now banned so try this ( I reckon it will be close enough-ish to get you started)---Wayne,Sherco fork seal replacement----

The more information is released about this deal the worse it gets, it's enough to drive a man to religion: The pursuit of ''oil'' is the root of all evil and Mandelson is the anti-christ !! I hear there is an unofficial boycott of British goods in the U.S. now???

Really? is that all that separates us? This analogy is way too simplistic, almost shockingly naive. I'm afraid you can't justify the decision to release this intelligence officer (from a country that sponsors state-backed terrorism) just because it is good to be seen-to-be taking the moral high-ground. To combat terrorism the whole world needs to pull in the same direction..not in the opposite direction like Scotland. Who the F**** can guarantee that Megrahi is no longer a threat (Bin Laden needs constant kidney dialysis), even his report at his debriefing could be used against us. Please indulge me while I act a little facetiously; Does anyone know of the percentages for re-offenders regarding a single murder? and let's apply it to the 270 people who were killed because of Megrahi's complicity? We should be looking at Scottish justice for the victims not the offender.

Now I've calmed down a bit, that last remark was a tad OTT,apologies. I was lost in the area around Lockerbie that day ( A7/ Newcastleton region) and had a'Twilight Zone' moment when I came to a road sign for Lockerbie and turned in the opposite direction. There are doubts over Megrahi's guilt but I can't help but be repulsed by the fact that he 'pleaded the 5th' ,as the Americans would say,( to hide his involvement) at his trial .

Scottish Justice now there's an oxymoron------Scottish Justice Secretary MacAskill's decision . Give me time to find a link to this asinine jerk; Kenny MacAskill, so the world can see this politician who's in love with the sound of his own voice. This guy contradicts himself so many times in one statement. It beggars belief that they've let this terrorist go on compassionate grounds, what compassion were his innocent victims shown? They didn't get to go home to their loved ones for their last 3 minutes never mind 3 months. Cue: Backlash from Trials Central's Jockenese cabal.

We used to play a similar game with a hill climb (doesn't have to be a big hill). Progressively, shorten your run-up by moving forward a stick placed at your front-wheel as a start-point marker (literally throwing down the gauntlet). See who can get the start-stick nearest the peak (or imaginary end flags) of the hill. Tried this at Warden Law once and was pretty chuffed with mesel, then the big boys came along (KSV on TrialsCentral here) and used the stick(in the same place ) as a reference/start point for their back wheel !!! A whole bike length less run-up was a whole world away for me ,skills-wise. But as Brucie says...'Good game, good game..'

Things are looking up for Scor-co (can't use Sher-pa for copyright reasons). From what I recall Tessier was the GasGas engine guy before he went off to help establish Sherco. I don't know about his financial clout but as far as manufacturing off-road bikes are concerned he's trials bike royalty.

Hmmm, wood and canvas wings with jet engines(those early Nazi turbines detonated by themselves) built into the fuselage, sounds like an accident waiting to happen.
  20. I wouldn't go running round the hills in Scotchland. ..I'm not that brave....There are still relatives of Sawney Bean out there you know !
  21. He,he, those crazy Scotch people think the North Sea gas/oil reserves are theirs as well ..they can keep their rights to the deep fried Mars bar though !

  24. Like this ??????? Is this the Dutch bloke you're on about? even though he changed sports he still had a reputation I think the air-holes you are on about are supposed to be blocked up with asbestos not sealant
  25. ham2 replied to perce's topic in Anything goes
Yup,Copey, those Flying Wings were very unstable (dangerous even) and I doubt it could even be flown consistently in those days. The Americans canned their FW projects in the 1960's after 20 odd years of testing and development . It was only the vast improvements in computers in the late 1970's ( to aid as flight controls)that resurrected the Fw aircraft. I think National Geographic and Grumman have re-built this Gotha/Horten for a new documentary so we might get to see if it can fly (don't hold your breath though). I seem to recall there is a ruling in the U.S. that if you built it yourself then you can fly it yourself and this applies to anything from microlights.... upwards???
