Gordon, who are you? Are you the Gordon from Huntly with the Mont?

Thought the B route was spot on, although there was some low scores in the top ten many of the riders seem to be Non Expert's. I've riden there on a wet day and, like many venues, it can be a totally differant trial. Good day out, thanks to all. Techno, thats 2-1 to me know I believe? With a marks dropped differance of 22 in my favour! Loser!

No results on the web page yet. Quite funny thing happened when I went to check though. I wasn't sure if the web site was a .com or .co.uk. I went for the .com option first and was surprised at what I found! www.bamcc.co.uk www.bamcc.com
  6. Judgeing by the Porsche Dougie had at the SSDT I suspect the wages are a bit better than the average paper round!
  7. Can't find a backflip. Clicking on the video link just gives Raga on one wheel.
  8. What a load of BS!! I can see we have some real experts on this thread I think HRC is saying that you can ride harder routes, not the hardest.
  9. This is so true! The day you don't enjoy it is the day to reach for the free ads. Your 40 does not mean you're out of your depth, more like the bloke in question is a ringer and should leave the easy trials to the beginers they were ment for. There seems to be a lot of people kicking about that have the ability to ride a harder route but I think they like the kudos of being top in their group. Their choice but who are they kidding? Granted, there are some riders that drop down because the harder route is just to damn silly for them but that's fine, its a sensible idea. Just stick with it, next year you might make it to section 5 on the TC trial! Here's the edit part, while typing Ishy has posted more or less the same statement as me. The guy on single figures is a loser!
  10. You can access the Bon Accord club web site here, I'm sure bigfoot can sort out an advert. They're running a national near Lumsden, just south of Huntly on the 27th. You can find directions here.
  11. Hrm, a controversial view, I bet nobody responds to this one!
  12. What you need to do is find someone who has access to either a chemical cleaning bath or better still Aqurious industrial parts washing machine using Saxin as the cleaning agent. After washing, blow dry with an airline. Completely hassle free! The worst part is removing the chain. Now where can I get one of those? Funny old thing, there's one where I work.
  13. Maybe stating the obvious, why not buy from the UK and then get it sent to you? Should cost no more than a tenner to get it sent to the States, thats about $18?
  14. I hope I'm not stateing the obvious, when you are attempting to fill the reservoir have you got both ends open, ie an open line from resi to the caliper? If you have the caliper end closed off then you will have an air lock and the fluid will not flow very well.
  15. Is this ment to be translated? If so, I cant get it to work. This should work. Click here!
  16. Could any of you that own SY's do me a favour please? I always seem to bottom the sump guard out on mine on the smallest of rocks etc. Its probably because I'm a fat git but could you all measure what the ground clearance is. If you measure from the ground to the sump plug access hole then I can do the same. Also, I would appreciate it if you could do it with the bike off the stand with no rider, then with a rider on the bike. I know this may be a pain in the a*** but it will help me to determine if all SY's are the same or if its just mine. Thanks.

    Sy Owners

Found one of the countersunk bolts holding the subframe and airbox to the frame was missing on Sunday just before the TC trial. Checked the others and many of them were loose. Also found the kickstart bolt was hand tight. Just thought you all should know, you might find the same ones loose on yours.
  18. No, cant say I noticed you.
  19. I would like to stress that in no way am I saying that bikes are allowed on the hill during a trial or at any other time, with out the land owners permisson. I was trying to say that there must be a percentage of people that are under the impression, for what ever reason, that they allowed to ride on the hill. As I said, when the said person told me this, I did feel somewhat shocked that he actually believed he could ride on the hill.
  20. Yes, that was me. I rode the easier clubman route, did you ride? Are there any results out for it? Sorry for pushing in on anyone at the trial but I had to shoot of back to Halton Gill. By the way, the TC trial was much harder!
  21. I really enjoyed myself and those that I never got chance to thank on the day, Thanks! The trial was spot on but next time I shall take bigfoot's lead and go to bed early. Still, I enjoyed the beer, just a shame all the best nights are followed by the worst mornings!

    Scorpa 175 4st

The Scorpa 4st's finished the 03 SSDT. Crosser was riding the bike at the very last sections of day one and sounded fine to me. I can only assume that things went wrong on the run back to Ft W.
  23. Thanks Andy! I'll be tacking a cool box so if I'm there first you can dive right in. I'll be putting up my tent then shooting off around 3 to ride a trial near Guisbourgh.
  24. I shall be setting off around five in the morning, not looking forward to the 360 mile trip to get there, is this the longest or is anyone travelling further?
