You cannot (even me) deny Raga is way ahead of the opposition indoor, Bou's challenge soon faded, although he is still very young and should surely be a future world indoor champ.
I cannot see a non spanish indoor champ for some years. Having their own series is a huge advantage.
It was also a bad day at the office for Lampkin finishing 7th.
Never mind the indoor circus though. The proper trials starts
in April 2006.

A bit of entertainment on the Saturday night would be good. A big beer tent - with decent reasonable priced beer. A bit of live music or a good DJ.
-
I heard that Mick Corby is a bit useful on a bike.

-
Our numbers have been swelled by......wait for it......one more.
All subject to the correct travel documentation been stamped and approved by the Kitchen Knife.
-
On the basis of loose Hawkstone style hill climbs Marc Friexa would be World Champ.
-
I've found the answer.
15 points difference between Raga and Caby. 3 rounds remaining and 30 points up for grabs.
Raga's blown it!
The cape and crown will be on there way back to the fancy dress shop he hired them from.
-
Looks like Cabestany likes his trips to Lisboa.
Is it possbile for anyone to beat Raga now?
-
Very interesting to see the current world no 2, Fujigas, does not feature in your predictions.

I to am fed up with my job as a Design Manager within a Construction Company. I would love to pack it all in and become a lion tamer or astronaut...
Wake up and smell the coffee. As IT Managers the only career you could possibly progress into is Trainspotting.
Now I'm just off to reboot my computer.
-
And as long as they don't start cancelling rounds and then re-scheduling them in Spain.
The sections need to be varied to fully test the riders ability.
-
PS DJ I forgot to tell you. The Wife won't let me go as I've some housework to do that weekend and the pelmets need dusting.
-
Come on. We don't do sensible.
the aim is to hire a Commer Van like the one in the Italian job complete with Union Jacks and arrive at Nigran in style.
There's only me and DJ to start off with the rest of the troops are preparing for Krakow.
Wouldn't it be something else if we could turn the Spanish WTC into a home fixture for GB.
-
Lampkin
Fuji
Raga.
Hopefully proper sections and not just big steps!
-
I bet that guy from work will have done a better job than Howard Wilkinson or Mick McCarthy.
-
Kinell,
Call their bluff and ride. I will be your minder, we can take 5's on every section and be back in the beer tent before the riders have even walked the first section.
-
-
Dabster,
where are you geeting the results from?

I think Apico do the grip wire plier things. I fit my grips with spray on brake cleaner, but have also had success with WD40. Honest!
-
Once again another cracking Colonial and my thanks goes to all the people involved in the organisation together with the observers.
Credit to Andy as well for travelling across Nations borders to take photos for the site. I thought you were going to doctor my picture so I looked slimmer.
Don't tell me you did.

The reason why there is more spanish riders is more qualified and quite simply they are the best nation. If we had 4 GB riders we would all be raving about it. The indoor WTC probably appeals more to the armchair supporter and no doubt is a better spectator sport to the un-educated masses. Obviously the outdoor is the one that really matters. But it is still a very good way of promoting trials.
Long may it continue.

I'll do my best for you Marky Boy, I don't want to see your pimped up Skoda getting mucky do I
As regards boots I'm thinking of getting the soles turned for Sunday so as they grip better.
-
Andy,
spoken like a true professional. I think it will help if the campaign gets 'Officially' sanctioned.
I am a little dissappointed that no know else has come forward with any other ideas for supporting Doug, although the topic has been viewed quite a number of times.
