  1. Hi i converted my Rev 3 by buying some far bar conversion clamps, that bolted to the lower originals, which is cheapest way,but most trials bar are the same width, give or take,or you could try and find a top triple tree of a later model, that has fat bar clamps as standard.
  2. Stock should be 11 front 41 which is 3.72/1 rear,optional normally 10 front most popular,it would be 4.10/1

  5. You could unscrew using the large cap screw, with a large socket, the spacer tube fits betwwen no 5 and the large spacer washer just above the spring, but it should unscrew by hand,no need to touch anything else above 5.
  6. You need to undo the triple trees or fork leg clamps to be able,to remove or adust the preload spacer,or at least the top clamps to be able to release the large top caps, which in turn allows the springs to pop through, then if you get that far, compress the spring to make visable the lock nut no 19 in diagram, then slacken that off just a little, then try and grip the same threaded rod futher down while unscrewing no5,which will enable you to remove or replace the spacer tubes.Hope this makes sence.

  18. As for removing them, remove the bolt at the bottom of the leg,and make sure you remove the clip that hold the seal in the leg, then it should be a case of pulling on the stantion cpl of times and it should come out fairly easily, complete with the lower bush.

  23. As lineway says it's a 2002 model.looks clean, used to have same model, but if possible go for 2004 on model,as spares easier to get hold of,ie rear sprockets,4 bolt fixing as againt 6 on this model, rear fender is a 1 off,and stators, which is a common fault,it's a six coil on this model, which are quite rare, 4 coil on 2003/4 upwards.
  24. Don't know about heat resistance, but i'm sure i replaced mine, many many moons ago,on my 349,where there situated,i wouldn't thought they wouldn't be subject to that much heat.where situated, suprised no others have come foreward with info.
  25. They were also used on the 247,looking in parts list,so someone must know a source,or if can't find any, try some normal rubber o rings that will fit.
