  3. B40RT, how do you check if a frame and engine have been registered? Just picked up an old 200 which has holes in the rear mudguard for a number plate but no sign of the reg. Thanks, Gary

  5. Pete, you are right it is a sad day, losing Kinlet is a real blow to the hard working Dudley pairing. We have only been into trials for a few years but my daughters and I have ridden a number of trials at the old mine, we were there today. Personally I never got on with the place, in fact it bit me today and sent me home for an early bath with a 4" gash to the shin, but we always came back. Possible to ride in any weather, for us coming an hour and a half across from the East Mids it was always a chance to try something different and we were glad to support Peter and family. I hope the Dudley club can keep going, land is a problem for us all and as soon as you run any sort of event on some every looser thinks they have a right to blast round on anything they can get their light fingered fingers on. RIP Kinlet, lets hope some day we can wake you from your slumber!

    Front Mudguard

Rebuilding a T/S Fantic with later Marzokki forks with horizontal mounted fork brace/mudguard mount (big hole in the middle). Aftermarket mudguards I have seen are rounded section across and to get a resonable fit to the bracket I need one with a square side profile similar to original, any ideas please?

  16. Call Carole Nash, tell them its a Fantic Trail and you should be OK,
  17. Once you get the nut off the clutch plate assy pulls off complete and you should be able to withdraw the clutch basket but it is tight on the shaft (look out for the 3 rollers dropping out as you remove). The kickstart problem is normally a worn kick start shaft bush in the casing (In-Motion sell them), a loose gear shaft bearing in the casing that the "double gear" fits on (I use shim steel and locktite to re-secure) or the double gear itself is worn. I have one as new which I found in Spain but they are like rocking horse manure. Mine is a spare but I would not let it go under
  18. Keep yourself legal, visit www.estc.co.uk and join the club as a practice member and you will have access to a legal practice ground all year round!
  19. I have one that I used years ago to transport Grasstrack/Speedway bikes and it is a great way to go if you only need to take one bike. Top Tip, get a Cycle Carrier mounting strap (the one with the metal hook that is plastic coated and clips into the top of your tailgate or boot lid) and pull the bike forward from the handlebars. My rack has an upright the rear wheel rests against so you cant pull the bike onto the paintwork of the car and the strap stops any chance of the bike starting to work its way into a backwards lean from the car! I carry both modern and T/S bikes on mine without any trouble,
