Was in my local last night and spotted a beer mat advertising a Scottish brewery. The slogan on it would make a perfect slogan for the Scottish: "It's not rain, just beer you haven't drunk yet"
  2. Superb!
  3. I know that, but it winds him up when we call him a Geordie
  4. Watch it. He's a big Geordie bloke like. Whyaye.
  5. Pixelation is the word you're looking for. This is a photo resized to 1" x 2" This is the same photo then resized up to 5" x 7" I think even a photoshop guru would struggle to do much with that.

You forgot "It's easier to get lost"
  7. Andy replied to jack_h's topic in Bike Trials
Happy birthday Jack. This should probably be in off-topic, but I'll let you off
  8. Moved to correct forum

If this is a brand new bike, wouldn't it be better giving the dealer an opportunity to fix it before coming on here?
  10. The smilies are there all year round, I just make them clickable around Crimbo.
  11. Lost count of the number of times I've watched it and still laughing.
  12. Hackers debut Mac OS X adware Apple blocks Mac OS X security holes McAfee warns over Apple virus risk Firefox and Mac security sanctuaries 'under attack' Virus dances onto Mac OS X Plenty more where those came from... Interesting quote from one of them... "Symantec has renewed its assault of the perceived security advantages of Apple Macs. "Mac users may be operating under a false sense of security as a noteworthy number of vulnerabilities and attacks were detected against Apple Mac

It's been posted before and I've not deleted links to it. All I have done in the past is edited the posts to add a statement saying the soundtrack is not suitable for young readers.

  15. Orange = France Telecom = Cheese Eating Surrender Monkeys. 'nuff said.
  16. Eric actually has one of the largest private camera collections in Europe. His camera of choice for Trials is Nikon. Absolutely fantastic guy. Has some great stories and regularly turns up in press rooms with beers for those of us still working. I'd love to think I'd be as fit and active as him when I'm in my 70's, but somehow I doubt it! I have a Sigma 70-200mm that I got from Eric (which reminds me I still have to pay him for it!) that I use with the 1D to take the close-up headshots. Awesome lens, but not cheap.

Is that not Republic of Ireland? "Index" in what respect?
  18. New topic merged with original
  19. Caroline posts on these forums. I'm sure she'll be around at some point. <pulls up chair and waits>

    Is it Steve's birthday today?
  22. Andy replied to bilco's topic in Anything goes
Sure - I'll knock together a game in my tea break! In seriousness, there are plenty Trials games out there. You could take screenshots of your scores and post them in a thread on here if you wanted to have a bit of a competition, but I'm not aware of anyone with the necessary skills to develop one.
