Why on earth do you want to make a bike heavier? That is just complete and utter madness in my opinion. I wouldn't like a bike of the weight of an Ariel 500 falling on me from a 2ft step never mind a 6ft step. What is your reasoning behind that suggestion? Drum brake's,Twinshock's,make the bike heavier,that's the only way forward.

Knew a friend in the TA a while ago,im pretty sure he said if he got called up to fight the army paid him whatever he was getting paid in his civilian job. Don't think alot of the guy's who joined the TA expected to get called up to fight.Think the TA number's are dropping aswell. My mate's son left the marine's a couple of year's ago,soon has he got out he joined one of those security company's out in iraq,now he's earning silly money.

Im not sure about this prize money thing at the level of trial your talking about,if you enjoy riding trial's you'd win for nothing surely. Keep the money and put it toward's some decent trophy's for the youth's class winner if you have one,there the one's you should be chucking sweet's to.

think they should design the engine's so they won't be able to kick over in gear,that would sort that out. My old man used to observe when i was riding schoolboy's,and boy we was sly the old man's no fool though he used to follow behind us from start to end,he was more shagged at the end of the trial than me There was allway's a line of dad's at the end of the trial at the sign off table complaning about him to COC,The COC was allway's on the old man's side i should add.

How nieave can we be. The Brit troop's that are being withdrawn from Iraq will be going straight to Afghanistan,as far as we know the American's arn't pulling out of Iraq?,if they did Iraq will be for the taking of any nutter that want's it. Iraq was just a smoke screen,the real target was Iran,but thing's did'nt exactly turn out the way it should have,as we know.
