  1. i think we've all learnt this lesson before, buying something like a new bike at low cost you know it's gonna break on you well before it's time, sorry but you just can't buy quality on the cheap, engine part's will wear quickier etc etc,i guess that's how there thinking of making there money back. They've called it a crap name to top it all.
  2. Lane Leavitt is there top man dougie, but they don't like to show him off too much.

    Flood Aid?

You tight git dabster go the extra quid and you could buy an african child, just ask madonna.
  4. I don't know ,if it was'nt a too serious trial you could of tried and made a good thing out of a bad thing, maybe along the line's of packing the bottom of the rock each side out with load's of little rock's to make a kind of ramp to make it possible to ride for the less experianced novice's,more good would of come out of that than moving it,every rider need's to taste a rock every now and again and some rider's would'nt unless it's facing them in the eye's. And all the observer need's to do is tell the rider's the section has changed when they come back round so they need to walk it again. I know it's not the rule's and if it's not a serious trial, then why not,it's good experiance for the rider's.
  5. Look's like money's tight out there at the moment and it don't look like he wanted to give it away either.
  6. Maybe. But i think you have to take into account that mansell's racing day's was year's ago, the car's was diffrent and the track's was diffrent than they are today. Don't think it matter's what new blood come's into F1 today and surprise's everyone with there driving,it's still the same old bore, you have a good car you get out in front from the start you stay there unless the car breaksdown, the most exciting part of F1 for me now is the pit stop's. Get the computer's out the car's put slick's back on get some nice straight's back into the track's then i'd start watching it again. I'd hate to say it but when sena died so did F1.
  7. LOL. It must of had wheel's on aswell.
  8. I'll let you know about democracy when i light up down the pub on sunday.
  9. I don't care much either how many minder's/catcher's what ever you wanna call them the top rider's have. But having them at club trial's what a laugh.I'll be buggered if im standing at the top of a steep drop expecting to catch a bike only to follow the bike down and land on top of it,then we're need another person coming in to the section to pick me up,so that's 3 people in one section at the same time or four if you include the observer laughing his tit's off at me,what a grin. some of you bloke's kill me.
  10. My advice to you would be stick to the classic trial's mate, don't think you'd ever get a decent ride at a cater for all trial to be honest.
  11. came with the bike mate not so expensive as ii only use sensible rd bikes to play with compared to trials its expensive!!!!! Took the Monte out for the first time Was very strange at first Very strange The fork seal went on the right hand fork with in the first half hour Me not very happy Had to cancel the mot the next morning So frustrating now not being able to ride it I am very lucky as the local farmer has given me lots of spots to ride on 'I will come down with the digger and shape in for you' he said Top man that! Really enjoyed trackstanding and simple circles with gas and clutch control Can
  12. What no BBW'S. Now im gonna have to have a toss up over this later.
  13. I wasn't too sure thats why I said "young people" and not "young boy" as I know of a few guys that have started wearing pink shirts as its meant to be trendy to get close to your feminine side apparently strangley i was thinking the same, did'nt want to risk asking though.
  14. Oh sorry OTF i see your meaning now,i thought they might of converted you whilst you was at that training session the other day. Right GIZZA5 it look's like we got a result. Look's like your the man to tell the man at the top that his made a right dog's dinner out of this lot.
  15. Exactly my sentiments. DSo how exactly would this work Gent's. would we need 3 more route's added to the other route's already in the section's to accommodate for the beg hopper's,novice hopper's,expert hopper's. or run them on the no stop route's running on the hop rule's,in which case as a no stop rider i'd be better off signing on to run on the hop rule's,so if i had to correct myself i'd lose less mark's,would'nt that wipe out the no stop rule if every no stop rider thought the same.Sound's like dodgy ground to me.
  16. So tell me bdmc do the club have a vote with all it's member's to see what rule they are going to ride under for that year? Have you asked your fellow rider's what rule there ridding to? My first club trial back after 20 year's of sitting up i got to the first section i watched 5 rider's go through, straight away it become obvious to me that there was 2 diffrent type's of trial's going on here,it should have been a no stop trial but there was hopping going on,i should point out it was the youngster's doing the hop's and i have nothing against that after all that's what there being trained to do,so if we look 5 to 10 year's ahead we will be stuck with the same problem but worse, the only answer is to separate the two rather sooner than later. I've tried a few other club's same thing both rule's going on at the same trial. It's the club's job to keep the youngster's interested in the sport and if they want to hop in a no stop trial there let them hop.
  17. That's the problem bdmc some of the club's and rider's ain't sure what rule's they should be running under, your right though a group of rider's are'nt going to be able to change thing's alone, the only people that can change matter's is the ACU and to be honest im not to inpressed with the way they work on the rule's,there just happy with chucking everyone together and hope for the best. The only way i can see thing's being happy is for the club's to specialise in either no stop or hopping trial's and state what trial it is on the reg's so we know what we're turning up ,Then you have classic trial's which should mean what it say's.
  18. Look at the ar$e on her kinnel..(Smash).
  19. This may be an idea well worth considering, we do this in the long distance road trials which we organise and it is very popular. However there are pitfalls with lunch breaks at club trials. Some people, (myself included) would shy away from this as it means that I get home later. Time; For me every second away trials riding has to be made up at another time with the family. It's great when I get home at 1.30 having ridden in the morning and can then do the normal family things in the afternoon. Organisation; someone has to organise the lunch break. I know this can be made fairly simple, but none the less it is another thing for someone to do. At our trials, having spent the whole of the previous day setting out, I am the first there at 8.30 on a Sunday morning and always the last to leave. There's already a lot to do. Observers; We are lucky in that we have a core of regular observers (two or three), they come purely to observe with the knowledge that the trial will be over around lunch time. Would they come if the day was going to be an hour longer? What is it was raining? Would everyone be prepared to go back out for another couple of hours soaking wet? I don't mean to put a downer on the suggestion but merely thinking of the problems. I'd be most interested to hear what other people think. Lunch never seemed to be a problem in the old day's infact it was most welcomed by nearly every rider and observer, you'd get to know the people you was ridding with. Ok if it's a wet day or winter time then the club can change there mind's to keep going or stop for a break on the day of the trial, now the summer's coming it's an ideal time to test the waters. The family issue, well bring them along, make club trial's a social event ,or give the wife aload of money to go shopping, that will keep her happy for the rest of the day. The only time you get to talk to another rider is when your waiting in a section after that you'd never see them again. I can underdstand that the organisation is tough, but the better we get to know people the more they will help us out a little more to make your life a bit easier? At the end of the day it's the member's responsabilty to help the club out in any little way they can,to keep away the problem otf has.
  20. OTF. Maybe it's worth considering introducing lunch break's at your club trial's,people would have to mingle with each other more and hopefully a few would become interested on how the club work's,you know what it can be like sometime's at trial's people pull up off load ride the trial as quick as possible and go home,if you take a break it will slow them down abit and add a bit more of a social edge to the trial. Lost count at the trial's i've done where you'd go back for something to eat in the afternoon and half the car park has gone. Look's like you have to pull your member's in,lunch might bring on a few moan's but by the sound's of thing's you ain't got much to lose by it.
  21. What about Cameron Diaz ? Who's he then. Think he's a Mexican window cleaner from round Atom's stomping grounds. ohhh. Does he give a good polish Atom.
  22. What about Cameron Diaz ? Who's he then.
  23. That's exactly why i don't do the lottery it just another form of Tax,bugger if im paying more money to bring up other parent's kid's the right way, when they should be doing it themselve's. Chuck them all in a Boot Camp and let the Army teach them the right way,i'd gladly pay for that.
  24. look's like he got a 10 if you include the five between the leg's. Great stuff
