  1. yeah sound's electrical from here. once the engine get's hot strange thing's can happen if there's an electrical breakdown, abit like what your experiancing. when your stopping to change your plug the engine is cooling down and that's why it start's up ok again until it get's hot again.
  2. Your right Bo the early mono's are becoming very collectable. But there not classic's yet. If bike's work like car's it will be branded as a classic on it's 25th birthday.
  3. Big John. your gonna have to work that photobucket thing out.I would like to see a picture of that bike.
  4. Yes give it another 10 or 15 year's they will be,so if you can pick up a few now cheap in good condition buy them. As less and less good twinshock's are about there gonna be next on the list

    De Carbon

I normally use petrol and a rag,if the rag does'nt work get some smooth wet and dry cloth, but but make sure you soak the wet and dry into the petrol first.
  6. hi. I know there's somewhere near the edan project to practice, more of a trial's holiday place really but im sure there let you go there for a day. think there's a couple of rider's from down there that come on here from time to time, they might be able to help you a bit more. Happy ridding.

I don't understand all this mucking about with the twinshock's either.I come to the conclusion that rider's find the mono class to hard so they turn to the twinshock class only to find out the twinshock's are alot heavier or they find the braking is'nt as good. My twinshock's are as standard as they came out of the factory, and to start chopping them about would be a SIN. All your doing is taking the history of the bike away.
  8. , invented by Alexander Graham Bell in 1876, who first called it his "electric speech machine " So is that where the saying (i'll give them a BELL) come's from. i am not really sure, how did you come to that conclusion i'm not to sure dougie pumpkin,it must be all the im on at the moment,it's starting to make the most obvious thing's in life look even more obvious.Think im fried.

  10. That's it mate,if your not a single man at the moment you soon will be.
  11. well depend's how stiff your suspension is on your four wheel drive is.i guess it's gonna by pretty stiff on a vehicle like your's. If it's a weak suspension then it's gonna sag is'nt it,and handle like crap.
  12. Trade your car in for a nice little van.chuck the bike and all your gear in the back drive as fast as you like without worring about the bike falling off, and no one can see what you've got in it. nice and safe if you have to park up somewhere and leave it. sorted.
  13. quote name='HAM2' date='Jan 16 2007, 02:15 PM' post='111651'] Oooh, bitch ! I thought that was a fair answer HAM seem's to be a common mistake.
  14. What way are you facing when you got on the bike.
  15. you forgot your third and most important reason glyph. Keep your bike clean and well maintained help's you keep the value of the bike when you come to sell it.
  16. Make's me think back many year's ago when i was ridding schoolboy's,the police invited us to do one of there trial's with them..When we got to the trial we had to park about 400 yard's in a field away from the wood's we was trialing.Well we all rode down the road to get to the woods and most of us was unlicensed.Anyway a cop car pulled up to see what was going on,one of them got out the car walked up to the signing on point, the guy behind the table flashed a badge to him after that he turned round got back in his car and drove off again. Do the police really care i doubt it.
  17. So does this mean a modern trial's bike should'nt even be classed as a road bike, after all you'd never get a proper number plate on the back of it,that's your first offence straight away. As far as we know the rider's were only picked up for no tax,and as soon as the police would radio in the reg number they would of known if the rider did'nt have insurance, and that would mean the rider's would'nt even be able to ride back to the start. Ok they did'nt have tax, just mean's a big fine. This is about some stuck up busy body not happy seeing something diffrent going through his village. We have problem's here with second home owner's that come down to there country house from there house in the city for 2 day's at the weekend and complain about everything and try's to get everything we do banned.Should imagine it was one of those brigade tat complained about the bike's
  18. sound's like yet another sad do gooder with no life of there own and has to spoil the life's of anyone who does have a life.
  19. yeah mate tubbed, you know im an old git.hav'nt done the tubbless one's so i would'nt be sure if WD would be ok with them.
  20. This is exactly why i move on to another section if there is a big wait for a section,i know there's a bad view on that by alot of other rider's, but it's gotta be better for me jumping a section and go onto one that's clear than sucking on 6 tail pipe's.
  21. That's what i was thinking. that could turn into a what happened next photo.
  22. righty, let's see what it's like after you've done your colouring in bit. how about black rim's and yellow hub's then.
