2015 Beta 300 Or 2015 Sherco 300
I've never ridden a Beta. But I have heard from some trustworthy folks in trials that they are excellent machines. When I was bike shopping I spoke with two dealers that sold Beta, Sherco and GG. Both recommended Beta presumably because they are the better bike in their view. Have to admit too- they sure look great IMO.

Is Trials Your Only Exercise?
No it's actually the opposite. Strong people are usually more flexible and limber despite the stereotype of the muscle bound fella. The stronger you are in any sport-the better.

Is Trials Your Only Exercise?
Trials riding is such a great workout, there's no doubt about that. Was curious if anybody uses Trials riding as exercise exclusively? If not, what else do you do to keep in shape?

'breakthrough' Techniques
Enjoyed your post Sammy. I have a few (very basic) "ah-ha" moments that I learned mostly from others. Forgive my brevity. 1.) The pegs/feet steer the bike- not the hands. 2.) Don't force anything in trials. Relax and let it flow. 3.) Look ahead- prolly more than you want to. 4.) Practice with the dead engine too. Go out to the garage and just balance.

Return To Trials What Bike
So many choices! I have thought about this a lot recently as next year I will get a new bike. Very tempting to look at the TRS or Vertigo as the new players. I do understand that people might hesitate to jump on the first year of a new project, but I think I'd go for it. Beta and Sherco are stalwarts that are probably great for any level of rider. Have to admit Scorpa has caught my eye a bit lately. Gun to the head right now my list would be: 1st choice- Vertigo 2nd - TRS 3rd- Beta 4th- Sherco 5th - Scorpa I'd be happy with any of these. Thrilled in fact!

A Few Basic Questions About My 290 Help!
1.) probably yes let's see a picture. 2.) get a ratio right mixing cup or use 1.5 oz of oil per gallon. 3.) press the shifter all the way down then click it up to find N. Or just start it with clutch in. Question for you my friend, are you just messing with me? Lol
