The SHERCO is just a SCORPA.............The way the Sherco now looks is a design that copies the SCORPA TWENTY that was designed by Adam Ragas old minder James Gonzales not Paxau The Scorpa Twenty came out in 2015 ....In 2015 the Sherco still had the fuel tank under the rear mudguard and the air filter up toward the handle bars...... The copy of the SCORPA by SHERCO came out in 2016 ......there are differences between the two bikes although not vast. The Sherco is just a Blue SCORPA.

That is definitely not the problem then......check the feed hole is fully clear at the bottom of the master cylinder reservoir with the brake piston removed from its cylinder and also check that the hole from the inside of the cylinder has no burrs on it that are protruding into the cylinder that could damage the seal on the piston as it is inserted.

The only way to know if you need a new piston is by mearuring the bore and the piston in the place and at the temperature as recommended by the manufacturer. ....but if you piston was not making a knocking noise before you stripped it then just put it back together and ride it ....you are looking at this motor in the same way as your enduro motors and they are not the same ...trials motors are low stressed and motors can go for ages before needing to be rebuilt if the owner pays attention to the air filter and sealing of the hoses to stop dirt entering the motor.

What make of brake pads are you putting in and are they sintered or not.

I think this explains a lot and I find it appalling that people should consider that the observers have cheated.....I must say that I have never come across anyone who cheats,people everywhere are jolly nice and just because the result has not turned out to be the one that was hoped for does not mean that observers at the Italian round were dishonest. Only if your water pump has leaked coolant into the gear oil or it has problems with overheating that suggest the impeller may have disintegrated [unlikely] .........If your piston is audibly slapping due to wear then change it if not why waste £200 ish to do both those jobs if they do not need doing.Taking off the cylinder is not really major work on a GasGas pro or stripping down the water pump.

Front or Rear ............if its a rear then it will just be a mistake in the spec sheet.

Front 5.5 psi muddy to 6 psi dry Rear 3.5 psi muddy to 4 psi dry All approximately.

The hole goes to the gearbox side of the casings. If you have used the bike and it has been working fine then keep on using it

You better tell the manufacturers of WD-40 as they state on their tins that It lubricates metal ........I find that it does a fairly good job of lubricating door hinges in my house.....but of course its not for use in gearboxes.

by incorrectly using ATF means not using the correct type of ATF......there are many different types of ATF that have different additives .......you must use ATF Dexron III or VI in a trials motorcycles manual gearbox. I have used ATF in trials motorcycles on and off for many years with no gearbox breakages as have many other people

Why would the ATF not lubricate the main bearings when used for road work.......if the ATF is in good condition and the correct amount of lubricant is in the gearbox then it will do the same lubricating as something like 75w gear oil .........ATF is used in automatic gearboxes of vehicles that drive on motorways for hours on end. Is this thinking based on ATF's low viscosity and the thought that only something of a higher viscosity can lubricate properly ..if that were true all the auto gearboxes would not last more than a few hours of use if that This is a similar way of thinking to the 100:1 2T in OSSA TRi bikes as opposed to those who have the fear and want to put bucket loads of oil in even though the evidence of those using 100:1 says that the motor works at 100:1

It is designed to be a lubricant and it is sometimes used as a hydraulic fluid in systems such as power assisted steering;but it is not specifically designed or soley meant to be used in a pressurised system. Trials wet clutch gearboxes have had ATF used in them for many years and they are not pressurised systems.

https://youtu.be/TX8QC4rmZJM ..............You can pull the bearings out and in using a suitable sized bolt with its sized nut along with suitably sized sockets in order to allow movement of the bearing through the hole in the link arm or on the shock eye or other bearing housing such as the one under the swing arm etc
