Isn't that true of everything else we pay a fortune for!
Yada yada yada.....I just deleted the rest. No point
I'm still at work and the governments gonna get half, eventually
At least I'm English - I'd live life even angrier if I was a Jock/Taff/Paddy, paying in to someone elses government.
How are bike prices in Canada???
34 months to go until we can up sticks and move.
I want to marry a Canadian and make things easier to move but my wife's not happy with that..oh no, always putting obstacles in the way that girl

Is that you in the blue cap Ishy.......I don't speak German
-
Couldn't they slot this little tinker in there and have done with it. Looks to be almost there?
-
Is this the GasGas 500 I've been waiting for?
Not sure I recognise the lump, is it a CB500?
-
Yep - You missed em!

Get over to Llanfyllin on the 24th October Jon.
This is the last event of the year as far as the club is concerned (apart from the Welsh Experts), so its a no pressure social trial followed by presentation at a local pub.
I'm fairly sure the location will be New Barns Farm, Trefonen near Oswestry, so not a bad trip along the M54/A5 for you.
Just because it's a social trial there will be no less effort put in to the sections, although for all but the experts they may be slightly easier than the norm.
We already get quite a few of the midlands riders coming over, Ross Danby, Mark Gilmore, Richard Evans to name but a few.
Most of our mid wales trials are only just over the border so probably half of our entry are from over the border (Cheshire or Shropshire).
All welcome - URL below.

It's OK Dave, he's an honorary taff nearly Knows most of us and I know it's in good humour.
And the truth is a fat bloke riding a hairdrier driving a pimp mobile and with an accent like that rarely gets the chance to take the p***
P.S. Hi Mark
Dave's ex Mid Wales - Llanfyllin - Oswestry lad.
-
Is that "Brian the Budgie"

P.S. There are some damned good trials down there on decent land. Need to check who's organised it if you get a stinker and avoid in future I suppose.
-
Can you imagine looking at this and thinking, I'm going to make a trials bike out of that.
-
Spoken like a man with recent experience
-
We did fine with tubes, but tubeless is everywhere now.
It's called progress.....but you're excused, you're from t'hills.
-
Double standards when Sam Haslam can publicly display his Chalfont's.
-
Come on Dabster, or anyone else - give me a run down.
Championship - Masters - Experts
Why, who, what????
I understand Youth, just don't remember it
-
Since my return to trials a few of years ago I've only had Michelin's and IRC so forgive my ignorance - Which Pirelli is it? Are we talking MT43 or is there a tubeless Pirelli as well.
I'd seriously think about it. If I have 4 michelins a year I can have 6 Pirelli's.
New edge every month - luxury
The one I've got on at the moment i did the Manx 2 day on. Can't tell whether it's Michelin or IRC at the moment.

Where was the twinshock Welsh Trophy at Dabster? Don't say Wales
The Welsh do seem to have a bit of a habit of not seeing the wood for trees, isn't it.....except our club or course
Can anybody put me up for a while if my Welsh pals arrive at the cottage with torches lit tonight?
P.S. The internet is not available in all of Wales unfortunately, it requires electricity and phone lines, so you may get them in the post first.
I'll mail someone to see if we can get them on here.
How was the trial by the way? I was on son's birthday duty
-
Seems to be ball by ball. They even sell a pressure guage at 80 quid a pop.
It doesn't say anywhere on the site what presure they will go down to and still be useful.
I would imagine slightly less than a tube, because a tubes pressure gets spread around the full circumference of the tyre when you hit something.
It looks like you do also have normal air in the tyre as well.
Would be good to hear how the two American trials riders got on with them. Not cheap but I'd imagine they would last for years in trials. Looks like a bit more of a pain in the butt every time you change a tyre though, although I bet they'd help you get the initial pressure in to bead the tyre.
-
The maths to work out the difference in circumference of such an irregular shape as the shape the chain forms is more than I care to think about after a few pints.
Shove it on and get it cut.

Probably hard to suggest Remembrance Sunday "respectfully".
Although I may be the least religious person in the world(I realise it's not a religious day, but religion does take it over).
I could understand if people got a little bit upset if that happened.
Especially people of your age Dabster
On-line meeting - Dunno - possible (probable) chaos - Good idea for the thread on here to discuss it, and gather the important points from it at the end.
I must admit I feel pretty uninformed about most things ACU. I tend to hear about them through word of mouth or maybe a column in TMX. How about a section on here for all matters ACU - keep people informed?
-
I just asked a similar question on the front page discussion. The advert on the ACU web page was titled 2004 Open Enduro Forum. I have no involovement in Enduro at all. Why would I click on it to find out that the trials forum is also in there (3 weeks before the enduro one).
First I heard is it is cancelled
-
Sounds fairly normal. Especially if you're going slow. No airflow to cool it naturally. Check the fluid level.
-
Really popular in Enduro. Not cheap at all though.
Hence, loads of mooses going round second hand well past their sell by date.
There's a joke there but I daren't
I'm a gentleman after all HL

We could never say goodbye to Gav
..............
it would have to be something like Goodbukye Gav, so he'd understand.
Love ya really Wonderboy......but not in a gay way....
