I was meant to be riding the Beamish there, but hurt my back and didn't want to risk making it worse

I'm the same age as you and have never done any form of motorsport. I had always like trials as a kid in the 70s and the very first bike I rode at 11 was a mates OSSA 250 mar. earlier this year(April), I decided I wouldn't mind having a go, so got myself a Beamish Suzuki 250. Did my first ever trial in September and won my class. There seem to be a good few 70s twinshocks about at really good prices £800-£1500 I say go for it, see if you can find some ground to practice on, after a few months of looking, I managed to find a place and haven't looked back. The classic trials scene is a very friendly place, with lots offering help and advice to new guys just starting out.

Out for a spot of Practice at Dudwood on Sunday on the Beamish 250 have a great time and learnt a few things

I used Vistaprint for mine. you can have hats, T-shirts mugs all manner of things made to your own design. This is the cap i also had them make, its not a print, its stitching

Yeah , i have seen that. Its the import tax that gets you, Can add £35 to the price

Practicing at Dudwood farm a few weeks ago and my first trial in video 2 Getting the hang of the Beamish now and really enjoying riding.

hi, I'm from Sawley Long eaton, just down the road from derby.

Im 54 and only did my first ever trial last week. Won my class first time out (first twinshock) Never to old to start or get back in to the sport, Im loving it.

Once fixed, maybe run it on some superplus, that doesn't have ethanol
