I can't answer your question but I can say I was observing at a trial today and I was talking to one of the Tlr200 riders and he has his geometry set to the same dimensions as a Montesa 315r.

I spoke to Pitley and all the info I can give you at this time is that there are 88 entries, all the top ch/ ship contenders are riding, there are sections on the brick lane. There are 4 new groups this year. He has been very busy organising things and unfortunately there is no list of riders to publish. Personally I will be observing again. Can't remember which numbers, see you there.

Looks like they got bored with the XT500, that's an XS 650 engine Jon V8 on here is grafting a Serow engine in to a Ty 175 frame, they are 225cc.

I want to road register my Tlr200. I believe it is a grey import. I will write to Roy Bacon for the cert but was wondering as I do not have any original documents or import papers would I be liable for anything else.(import duty/ vat)? Trouble is I don't know any history or how long the bike has been here. I don't want a Q plate either.Has anyone here done the same thing?? Thanks in advance.

What silencer is it as most tail pipes have been / were replaced with the type that are re packable ie Wes, Dep or WHY. Are there pop rivets near the end?? if so they need to be drilled out remove the end cap and re pack with new exhaust packing and clean. Then re fit the end cap and re rivet. (You can get a rivetter for less than 10 pounds inc rivets) PS there are a couple of aftermarket silencers that were not this type made by Shirty, Birkett etc Oval sort of shape..

Hi Jon. Somerton classic, is the venue Emborough ponds ?(not sure). , pre 65/ t shock club. All from memory as I am too tight to buy tmx.(get regs in asda)

Just stumbled upon this thread looking for anything re Somerton club. Anyway surely a mix of different bikes as Jon V8 says is a good thing.Let them all in, if it's too easy for some they won't be back. (may be glad of a ride one weekend) I rode the Hawks trial last week there was a mix there of everything, and those O 50 a/c monos are not in huge numbers and it all works well. Just my 2p worth.
