Depending on what size windows you have in the Transalp flywheel may depend on whether this is suitable.(if there are external threads it would be a good idea to use bolts) But for the trials bikes this should do the job as long as you have the right puller.

Surely not a bad idea to have one to hand even if the observer does not administer any first aid. Like having plasters or headache tablets in your works bag just in case. Amazing how many people don't have anything but are the first to come on the scrounge when they need something if they know you carry stuff.

Exactly, it is a very brave move to make no matter who's name is on it in the current economic situation.
The Big 4 Jap companies came up with radical designs in the past that turned out to be right lemons so they will need to prove them selves big time.

Never heard of him..... until now, not followed that side of trials t b h but well impressed with the video, thanks for posting. Over 12 m views as well.

May be the scrappage scheme has been such a success it has been included for trials bikes ??

A quick glance at the book shows he signed for Honda for a further 3 years in 85 after riding the twinshocks, and the 360cc engined RTL was the bike he was riding. He hinted the 250 was not powerful enough for world rounds. There is a pic of the 360 and the reg looks like MNR **Y. This is of course an 83 number but that means nothing. (Look @ GOV 132s questionable past).
Are you telling us that Gavin has the rare TLR and hasn't bought the book ?? Now affordable and only across the border.

edit. I remember reading MCN back in the mid to late 80s and a lot of works bikes went in a crusher( all 2 wheel sports)

Couldn't have put it better myself. I own both,
-
Don't they take any notice of what goes on elsewhere ?? they seem too wrapped up in mx to realise what else is happening ??
At the end of the day clubs/members will do the ground work/ hard work and they will put their name to it.
-
Don't say that, I am just in the process of registering my TLR. Pitley has twisted my arm to come and have a go next year.
-
I wonder how long until this gets pulled??

I am not a fan of TMX but in all fairness it was on their website when I trawled the whats on this weekend section.
-
Don't you think it was probably in the pipeline well before the crunch kicked in so they stuck with it anyway(no going back if you like). Other projects that were about have been shelved/scrapped this year.
Can't help thinking the rev cyl is a gimmick, it was used on some Yam tzr's and tz racers but didn't get too far. I am sure it was played with before but again never really took off.

You can get 6 " if you want them. Higher the better I would say to avoid a stooped back, fwiw ??

Yes sold, I emailed the seller through another sale they have.
-
That's my view, it would be consistent, the observer there didn't give a 5 either. Consistency is the key.
Some may 5 him many would not. It would be interesting to have a vote on it amongst those on here that regularly observe.

Thanks Malc, good video.
I think I would have given anyone the benefit of the doubt @ 6.38.
-
Sold. Did Big John get there on time, or anyone else here for that matter ??
-
Only 25 produced, rare as hens teeth.
I wonder how many are still out there , single figures I bet. They are in "Four stroke finale" . I think Big John should lift the mattress sharpish.

It's like everything, there are bikes out there costing 500 tops look like a bag of **** but the rider can ride them well. The idea of throwing a tump of money at a bike is no use if you can't ride it well imho, you're wasting money ??
I recently observed at an ACU round and there were a few a/c monos 2 Gassers, 2 Fantics and a Pinky doing well. And of course the older t/s and pre 65s were out riding the same route as the monos. Some areas seem to dismiss the a/c monos unless they ride in the mono class against the 4rt etc. In some cases people don't want them, look at OTFs clubs predicament, they may lose a venue over it.
As they say you can't please all of the people all of the time.
-
Going back to the original question what if you were on a British bike ?? Your right foot would be on the deck away from the kerb ??
-
Thanks for the replies I only need a swb. Does anyone know the load length in the back bulkhead to rear doors, thanks.
