Is it true the ACU maybe scrapping the masters class? If so, what will they ride, with no disrespect to the riders, i cant see them wanting to do the full championship class. Also there are roumers flying around that the likes of quality riders like thorpe, baker and perhaps ed mac, are not opting for the championship class.
That would then leave one hell of an entry for the expert class, with well over 30 riders wanting to compete, and probably under 10 on the full couse. wouldn't the expert class be the flagship class?

its not the ideal way to buy helmets, because they are saftey items once they have generally left the shop we cant take them back. (as we do not know the history of the helmet). All helmet manufactures seem to have a different ideas of how helmets fit. A shoei tends to be a large fitting helmet wheras hebo's tends to be smaller fitting. I'd never recommend buying a helmet mail order, always try to get them fitted correctly.

Depends upon how many times and how hard you crash, The scott you have 80miles and 80sections all off road, with about a 7 hour time limit. In the scottish you have a 120miles some off road some road based with only 35 sections and about 7.5hours time limit.
How about for the 100th anniversary of the scott 100 sections and 100 miles!! 1st man away at 8:00am!
-
Why do we do it? Because it a bloody good thrash around and lots of fun, is there any other trial in the world that you can do that?
-
Didn't realise that was you rich, mind you wasnt lookin. Amos, james lampkin, and myself all came through together. Cant remember passing kinell, did he see a red blur?
-
I have much faith in kinell, If he gets off the gm he'll be more or less home.
-
what a refreshing change. Brilliant open flowing sections with choices of lines, able to take marks from the best without having to turn up your own a!"e. There was nothing dangerous, and even fancied sec 9 on practice lap.
-
That was one of the more open, ridable and enjoyable sections of the day, plenty of lines and options. we wern't just limited to 6 inches as we were in most of the other sections.
-
scottie, put that big step in for the experts, if we dont fancy it, take it out for the trial on sunday.
-
I dont think the gasser would hold together after one of my crashes, tried to destroy the mont in scotland but it just too good!!
-
reckon i can take a good 20mins off last year, had to have a sit down for about 5 mins last year after winding myself. There'se not much chance of beating grimbo (I'll just wait till he retires) he's just so quick through the sections. Where we are pushing and shoving, graham is off and away with the min of fuss. It would be good to have doug riding, see who would come out on top. Although i dont think i could keep up with graham, it ain't goin to stop me tryin!!
-
Who's that andy? kinell or me after a mega off. again
-
I wonder if perce has any official wispers? 2-3 hours will put us somewhere on the grouse moor before surrender. Cu there.
-
Yep can get your cylinder ceramic coated for
-
James Lampkin, wayne Braybrook, Amos Bilbao and myself are on the 4 strokes. Where are people finding their numbers from? I've heard rumours that mines 190. No idea if thats correct or not. Quite looking forward to a good race!
-
If possible use the rear cam stop position. This lengthens the wheel base and improves traction. You'll be surprised how much differance it makes.
-
Most of the top runners use michelin, with the exception of a few, very good riders, who often challenge fot the top berth, mr, phillipson and austy i belive use dunlops, as do most of the beta team. Yes some tires suit different conditions and they all have a completely different feel to them. It will usually take quite a number of weeks to adjust to a new make of tyre.
-
How can that be too expensive for a totally new model, with new technology. How much was a Fantic 80 when it was launched, or what about the TYZ, wasn't that about 4k? If the RRP of the 05Mont
-
I belive it was a scott, no idea what model, but it was produced around 100yrs ago.
Thats where we get the scott reliability trial from. Mr Alfred Scott wanted to test how reliable his bikes were so he came up with the scott trial. I think it was based in west yorks at the time.
-
Hopefully not, its my ambition to score at least 1!! Need more practice tho.
-
hp means nothing, its the all important torque that matters. The scorpa has plenty.
-
Lovley weather!, cracking sections and a good run out. No results as yet. Good scott practice.
-
The regs are filling up fast, if you still want an entry make sure you get them sent in asap.
-
The scarborough 2 day is one of the highest level youth trials in the country, you expect them to be hopping, and developing the skills of a young dougie lampkin. If you want natural sections go to your local youth trials club, they are to have an enjoyable day out, being quite challanged in some sections but nothing dangerous. Those ridings at scarborough are there to find the best in the country, its marked out to find a winner rather than for the masses to enjoy.
-
yep, it the same colour as alot of the yamaha road bikes, the colour is dpbmc - Deep purplish blue metalic cocktail. Got it in stock for about
