  1. cacao putting more oil in than spec will only make the forks hydraulic lock and take away from the initial fork stroke length.
  2. Glad this old over the hill washed up Trials rider could help.
  3. You might try changing the fork compression oil to a much heavier weight BUT leave the rebound weight at the lighter weight. This has worked for this issue on Betas.
  4. Ah, ah you mean clearance, wink, slop, free play, je suis savant!
  5. I give up. What is a “Big End Float”
  6. Aye, that is a fair guess. LOL That is what happens when you just look the posts in the top right hand column. My bad..........
  7. 2014 250 What, Beta, Sherco, Gas Gas........
  8. Steve An open connection will default to the fast map. I have taken many of these switches off Betas since they came with them on. To test this, just unplug the switch and feel what it does.
  9. An open switch is the fast setting. In other words disconnect the map switch and the bike defaults to the fast setting.
  10. When I read the headline Help Swapped From Gas Gas To 4Rt I thought to myself “ Raga is posting on here” LOL
  11. I doubt seriously that anyone could tell a one rear tire PSi differential at any pressure above 3 PSI in a blind test. A heavy riders weight could compress and flatten the foot print 4 PSI to 3 PSI just as much as a light rider already set at 3 PSI. I think it is more about consistent tire pressure from ride to ride. As long as your front and rear is in the appropriate ball park of 6>9 PSI front and 3> 5 rear then you are good to go. If your suspension is set up correctly a one to two pound tire pressure will not matter. Your milage may vary.
  12. Why not buy a quad if you want to haul stuff around? I take it you don't actually ride sections but rather explore?
  13. New stickers for sure. But will they be made of titanium. Titanium stickers would lower the weight.............
  14. I hear that Toni Bou feels he cant get any better until Honda installs a battery in his bike. Imagine this a battery is all that is holding him back.

    Gb Vs Usa

Podracer The Beta GB flywheels are always heavier than the US spec bikes regardless of cc/size. BUT........ the 2015 model years have different magneto arrangement so will you will have to get one based upon your model year of Beta.

    Gb Vs Usa

Steve It wont be long before your heed is smooth just like mine. LOL The GB 2015 300cc Factory heavier flywheel is around $230 USD.

    Gb Vs Usa

FYI: I weighed the following side by side: The GB flywheel on the 2015 Beta 300cc Factory weighs in at: 7 pounds The USA flywheel on the 2015 Beta 300cc Factory weighs in at 6.3 pounds Installed the GB flywheel for smoothness of the bottom end (of the bike).
  18. So a rider that got a three could theoretically dab six more times and still only get a three??? Mad............ Then why bother.
  19. There is a Zero? Why was I not told about this? I have heard about them but never seen one in person. LOL
  20. Been around trials for around 30 odd years now. Been asked all the usual question from lay people and riders a like. Why is there no seat on the bike, how do you set the suspension, etc, etc all the usual stuff that I am sure each of you have been asked. Until yesterday I thought I could at least give an approximate answer to anything trials relate thrown at me. Here is what stumped me “why is there no “4” on the score card? We can get a 0,1,2,3, and then a 5. So why not a 0,1,2,3,4, and then 5? Any ideas on how this came about and/or how would it change any trial if there was a “4” on the cards?
  21. Woodruf Key missing or moved.
  22. There is a red ring on both forks. One has a C on it the other a R on it. It guess C is for compression and R is for rebound. I dont see anything for pre load. There are red rings on both sides.
  23. Where is the front fork pre-load sag adjustment on a 2013 TXT Pro 280 ? Thanks guys
  24. Good background info. It is always interesting to learn how/where a product started out.
