Hi Carl Looks like you are becoming the Dellorto R&D man, and possibly the saviour for all of us disillusioned rev 3 riders who have problems. Have a think about selling the finished product to the UK after you have got the set up just right, could be a seller - I would have one straight away

Could be a good idea, dont think you can give money though for youths, may be wrong. Tyres could be a good way instead of trophies or free entries to trials and memberships if a few clubs got together and offered these prizes. Hoping my lad will be competing soon but not looking forward to the costs much though. I am sure even the little things will help on mums and dads budgets, down side could be theres nothing better for a 12 year old to be given a great big shiney trophy after a trial

Neon, mine is starting to wear but not holed yet, amy try a 1 and a half link in the chain next week from BVM. Should do the trick I hope, will stop the wheel clogging up when the winter comes as well

Sounds about spot on toofastTim, did the same with road racing, first really bad off packed it in - kids,job,wife descision was easy. I enjoyed Hare and hounds but found the time it required to keep the bike 100% every week and the travelling just got a little to much. 2 hours in the workshop every night and driving 150 miles back home from wales every sunday after 4 hours flat out on the WR was taking its toll.

David, the 98-99 Gassers are good bikes, mate of mine has a 98 250 and it still rides really well, if you go this route make sure it revs out cleanly, no nasty noises and allow for changing all the suspension bearings.

Had a year at Enduro/hare and hounds, really enjoyed it and the trials experience was a real help. Costs a hell of a lot of money though and takes up just about every spare hour you ve got. Back to trials now though, more of a laugh and much cheaper

Does anyone know if there is a site which will post the daily results an pics of the trial. Followed the trial a couple of years ago online but cant remember the site. Just been onto the Richmond club site but does nt seem to be much going on there. Just want to see how many northerners our Oxford lads are whopping.

Ferret, rear disc bolts always come loose, mine chewed a caliper half way through a days riding, check them every fuel up now. Got loctite ordered this week, hope it stops it. Rear bash plate bolts tend to slack off as well

Perce, been hot every time I,ve been, got to be the best trial we do and all the lads look forward to it months in advance. Really going to miss it this year, great sections ,scenery and a bloody good laugh

Perce, I love Oxfordshire but that view, wish I was riding this weekend now!!!!!!
