    Moto Gp

Pete you must have seen the lad racing over here in the 125's, talent like that is very rare, last year he had really good results but didnt get much publicity for his efforts. Now hes got the right bike and characteristics of a 250 hes going to be hard to beat, may not quite get there at the end of the year but will be world champ in the next 2 or 3 years And if Ducati decide to pull out of WSB which they might next month bet Max will be well up there, the new 800's will suit him perfect
  3. Great rides from all our lads and a cracking one from Patrick, nice one hope he can do some more rounds this year
  4. Wait till you stick the Boyesens in

  7. As Dabster says you will enjoy it, very open woodland, no big hills lots of roots and nadgery stuff, will be slippy if it doesnt rain by sunday. Quite a big lap from what I remember and quite good fun riding between sections
  8. Bloody hell lads, its 4 quid a bag and does about 3-4 repacks, get the proper stuff
  9. Hi Jack, I ve done a couple of wycombe trials at Stockenchurch but not riding this weekend. If it says Ibstone or near then its more than likely on the link below. Head north up M40, get off at Junc 5 (stockenchurch) turn imediate left at the T junction off the slip road and the Trial is about 3 miles on the left up the road. Have a good un Stockenchurch
  10. Right then all you 4rt riders which throttle body would you recommend to use? the 2 stage switch type (soft/mental) or the full programable one you can alter yourself or buy programmes for? if the programable one is better whick map would you recommend? Doing this post for Dad as hes keen on getting one of the units but has no real clue which is the better. Any comments much appreciated Thanks Just
  11. I know a couple straight away who have gone down, as Bob says depends how you like the bike to ride, never had any problems with enough speed in first at all.
  12. good luck with the bike test sunday mate remember no flicks or kicks off the curbs and cones

  13. Barry is that an attempt at an excuse???????????????? you only live up the road be going again in 2 weeks if you can make it then
  14. Steve does them, dont know if they are any stronger than the standard ones though? Link here SXS
  15. I got rid of mine ages ago, not stuck one back on at all just keep the midbox/silencer well sealed with silicone without any problems. They cost a fair bit, screws get busted and can catch on your boots sometimes. Think its there more as a heat sheild than anything else but I havent noticed me leg burning so I ve left it off.
  16. I ve always found the rev 3's too high geared in first, bit too clutchy in the nadgery stuff and streams. Definately got a 10 on the front one less than the 11 standard, works really well, still high enough for most sections but makes second much more usuable for climbs.
  17. Great pics Barry spurred me on to get a better camera I recon sooner rather than later. You up for wales sunday?
  18. Barry, glad I had a go with your camera now, thats the best pic I ve ever taken I think, good air time that mate
  19. No show from cycle boys Joe and Sam today think they were bumming or something, great again although well hot in the bowl. Dad likes his 4rt now after riding Gerty in the morning but will get a few bits to make it more how he likes it. Barry had a good day and stayed till nearly six - 9 hours of it Nice one!!!!!! Dan was well on form again and did a great hop backwards down a steep hill for about 20 feet after his first attempt at a step did nt come off, hopped back down clean and went straight up the step again. Old type of riding these days but great to watch. About 40 or so pics of today below, not many of Barry as he was taking pics pretty much at the same time as me. http://s150.photobucket.com/albums/s85/Thedishes/
  20. Hi Nik, I have a couple of links below which should help with clubs etc. You are in the Midland Centre and not far down the M5 is the Western centre who run quite alot of Trials. The ACU link shows all the clubs in every centre some of which have web sites and emails for contact. The Midland Centre link has dates etc shown for up and coming Trials. I dont know of any practice areas near you but there is Top Farm not far from Worcester contact scorpa3 on here (Pete) who runs the Club. The are also a couple of good quarries just East of Cheltenham well worth going to and usually a few other riders there every weekend. On the ACU site you can download the Trials registration form, fill it in and phone/email your local club. You need to join a club for your ACU registration card so the club will send you a club membership form out. Once both have been completed send the two forms back to the club who will sign the ACU one for you and post off to them. The card should take 10-15 days to arrive, or you could see when the next local trial is on and just turn up with the completed ACU form and join there and then. Pretty much all Trials riders are a very friendly bunch will to give help and advise even the very top lads dont be frightened to ask, good luck Midland Centre Site ACU Clubs ACU Licence Form
