    Trial Newbie

Slapshot, was just typing a 600 word reply to the new fella and you moved the post and its lost have to do it again tomorrow now In short for the rev 3 but should be the same Pj1 foam filter cleaner Pj1 foam filter oil, not too much though and work it in well Light gear oil or ATF Dexron 70ml - 80ml of Castrol TTs 2 stroke oil in 5 litres of 97-99 octane super unleaded Keep the throttle clean and oiled lightly (3 in one oil or 2 stroke plus bit of wd40) Make sure all bolts are tight before riding Clean carb as much as possible, or at least drain it after every ride Tyre pressures 6 in front, 3-5 in rear depending on terrain, Good luck, its a great sport
  4. Neo, the one Ralph has got, you can get one from Lampkins, Dellorto have put the choke etc on the right hand side for the Beta Ralphs VHST is still running perfectly since he bought it in November, thats at least 4 hours riding
  5. As Barry said, quality decals. I got the full kit about 5-6 weeks ago and they still look like new. Very thick and easy to apply, I had 2 fork leg decals,2 side frame and 2 swing arm in the kit

    Water In Carb

Sounds like the fuel/shut off needle is dirty or worn causing it not to close the fuel flow off. It usaully only shows on low revs as higher revs tends to get rid of the fuel from the float. Give it a really good clean and check fuel flow/shut off is working with the float bowl off whilst the carb is out of the bike. Easy part to buy and replace.
  7. Looking at the scores I think North Berks got the sections spot on for a Novogar Round Expect Jarvis had a silly prod somewhere for his one and most of the Experts had a low score day. Great ride again from Wiggy on the moped, it must have struggled on the railways banks and climbs, Dad said he was the best through Seymoors Dabster survived it, hope you enjoyed the day Going to have a go at this round next year but will be getting some practice in at the Arena over the summer, well Done North Berks hope this weekends Colmore shows about the same scores throughout the field.
  8. Few pics of today, very wet and not much grip but a good day non the less Pics

  11. Maybe harder than that Ralph, Jarvo 18 - Boy wonder 30, bet 30th place on over the tonne hope I am wrong though. I did here of a ringer entering the Trial, may whoop all of them eh Ralph what 6 foot rock step Just seen the rider list, Thorpey second on 25, good luck to Dabster as well, braver man than me. Weather looks better for Sunday, Dad will be on hand at the Arena for tips and lines to the top lads. Good luck to everyone, lot of effort has gone into running the event.
  12. Hope you pasted that lot Andy, I see Jezza took over 2 seconds off Pitts time even with a busted bone. Ilmor still way off pace and i hope they can sort things out first half of the season. In the 125's our lad from oxford finished 8th overall and second in wet practice hope he keeps it up all season, love the 125 class. Roberts are just about out of cash and still not got a main sponsor Kenny says they only have enough funds for the first two rounds so far
